>> good suggestions from yesterday. san jose firefighters begin another day with the battle this time flaming broke out at a home in south san jose, and abc7 news reporter is on the scene. matt? >> this area is blocked off right around the home that caught fire. the firefighters are still here on the scene making sure there are no hotspots. the call came in at 1:15 and the husband, wife, two sons and a dog were able to get out but they could not put out the flames with their hoses, the garden hoses. when the firefighters arrived the flames spread through the the attic. there is a lost damage from the ceilings being pulled down, the water damage in the house. >> firefighters were able to save a couple of motorcycles parked in the garage but a classic car was damaged,
