here is a live view of the moisture moving through the bay area now. spotty dridz yil around the bay area as you can see. there are damp spots to the north bay first. moisture moving in. from san francisco south ward down to the santa cruz we can see patches of moisture moving in. no significant rain. here is a live view looking at the bay bridge and readings around the bay area. 53 degrees. 55 in half moon bay. a live view of downtown san jose, cloudy skies there. spotty sprinkles around san jose a little bit. 64 in napa. 65 in livermore. and this is a forecast looking back towards san francisco from our east bay camera.

looks dreary from these angle with low, dark clouds lurking near the coast. we'll continue to see light scattered showers with temperatures from mid-50s. during early morning hours still lingering temperatures from 51 to 59. milder into afternoon and sunnier into the bay. clouds will linger at the coast tomorrow. later in the week is a different weather picture. >> thank you, spencer. >> president obama placing a wreath at the tomb of the unknowns at and mr. obama says we should never forget the u.s. is still at war. >> memorial day i stood here and spoke about how for the

first time in nine years americans were no longer fighting and dying in iraq. this time next year we'll mark the final memorial day of our war in afghanistan. >> the president also spent part of the day visiting graves with u.s. service members killed in iraq and afghanistan. >> in the east bay first crosses went up seven years ago during the heat of the we'll be right back. -- war with iraq. >> with the war in afghanistan and our involvement diminishing what does the future hold for the crosses of lay fa yet? >> well, the crosses have been a fixture since 2006. during that time, they have survived vandalism and the death of the property owner who was a big supporter of the effort. now, the founder is drawing a new plan for this land.

it was windy and foggy for the service honoring those men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice. mayor ed lee and several military leaders spoke to the crowd this, ceremony paid tr veterans who fought in the korean war and world war ii. >> in san jose a buddhist prayer. military families and veterans joined to observe memorial day at oak hill military park join wid bilocal boy and girl scouts who placed 3600 memorial plag flags at the headstones. >> services including speeches and rendition of "america the beautiful". after the ceremony visitors guided through the remodeled civil war section and shown graifz of some buried there. >> coming up at 4:30 we'll take awe long as police go on

their memorial day ride to pay honor to-to-fallen officers and how the giants and a's paid special tribute to american service men and women. >> holiday tragedy today in colma. three people died in a crash around 7:30 in morning. all three people died inside of a green 19 90sed whoel ford mustang. the car nearly split in half after colliding with a honda. a fourth person, paul diaz left the crash scene then turned himself into police this afternoon. >> he was associated with the vehicle. >> with this one? >> yes. >> was he driving? >> at this time i can't, very no information to release. >> the coroner identified the victims. all three lived in daily city. >> a bay area burlesque troop

plans to go ahead with a show deej zpits the death of one of it's stars in a fatal crash. sarah klein died yesterday when a car being driven by her husband was hit by a party bus. authorities say their car lost control and hit the center divide near the broadway exit, then spun around, facing oncoming traffic. that is when the party bus hit the car. officials say klein and her husband had been drinking. eight people on the bus suffered minor injuries. >> in san jose, police investigating two weekend shooting that's left three people dead. >> the first one happened yesterday. police say the victims were teenagers between 15 and 17. hours later a man was shot to death on heys avenue. >> matt keller with that

shooting. >> christopher was in his apartment on hays avenue just after 10:00 when he heard a quick argument then three gunshots. he ran across the street to find a 21-year-old man dying on the sidewalk from a gunshot wound. >> i asked him do you believe in god? he said yes. he was convulsing and blood coming out of his nose, mouth. just going in and out of consciousness. then, he woke up and said i have a daughter, started convulsing more, then, he died. >> police investigating what led up to the shooting. officers were hoping good samaritan could give clue autos they wanted to know if i asked who will kiled him. i didn't think to ask him who shot you. i just was worried if he believed in god or not. >> the violence started about four hours earlier two. teen-aged boys shot behind a shopping center at about 6:30 last night. one victim died at the scene.

an oregon high school student will make a court

appearance on accusations he was plotting a deadly assault on his school. police say the 17-year-old wanted to cause more devastation than we saw at columbine high school. abc news reporter has more. >> authorities in oregon say this young man, a 17-year-old, seen near his facebook picture was on a deadly mission to blow up his high school. >> the goal to model the come lum bin shootings with some adjustments that would make it a greater success. >> a frightening thought considering 12 students and a teacher were killed in 1999. fortunately place say they were tipped off by a 911 call saying there was going to be an attack. friday, the bomb squad searched his mother's house, inside, they found pipe bombs, bombs made from drain cleaner, homemade napalm and molotov to

movement of a cold front brought us light sprinkles and showers today. is and some lingering now there. is a little bit of moisture behind the front so starting at 7:00 this evening. we'll see some light sprinkles developing and continuing by 5:00 in the morning beginning at rush hour we might see an area of showers down near san jose. looks like most of the area will be cloudy but probably not wet. maybe damp spots here and there. skies clearing from the coast to inland. it will be mild overnight tonight. will be mild with clouds hanging around. tomorrow in the south bay and in san jose upper 60s to low
