good afternoon, everyone. >> a massive fiery explosion shakes rez dentsz just outside of baltimore. and happening thousand, fire cruise are letting two flaming freight train cars burn themselves out. they caught fire around 11:30 our time. the freight train slammed into a garbage truck. the crash derailed and 15 train cars, some carrying flammable materials.

surrounding buildings were damage frtd blast. officials say nothing toxic is burning at the site right now. no one else was hurt. >> happening now in southern california a forest fire keeping crews busy. this kons yuchled almost three square miles, firefighters only have 10% of it conzpaind today, benefiting from a lull in winds and they're making pro grechls they had to evacuate about 50 homes in the area last night. mostly cabins and vacation rental autos another fire burning in southern california near six flags magic mountain. it broke out this morning. and grew about 60 acres before firefighters started to get containment lines around it. the theme park stayed open, but homes nearby were threatened for a short time. >> fire destroyed five businesses in antioch today. this started just after 8:00 this morning on a strip mall.

it took an hour and a half to put it out. firefighters believe it started in the attic then spread to businesses below. the store owner says he was shocked to see how fast it can disappear. >> that whole mall, we couldn't believe it this morning. amazing and crazy. >> the fire destroyed a gasher shop and burger restaurant. >> thieves have caused thousands of dollars worth of damage for a club. >> someone stole five outboard motors the sailors use to get around the bay. >> larry most people know the group as bad, those motors could ground the operation. take a look at this. if you look at the cable you can see where a tool was used to cut through it. it's putting the operation,

like i said in, danger because they caused extensive amounts of loss, thieves used a tool that moi mai have been used to cut through the locks to reenforce cables and fuel lines they used to secure the motor to this craft. five hotors used by the bay area association was stolen overnight. ts mission is take those with mobilibility ish skbruz allow them to operate the boat on their own. this can make operating the sails and rudder possible without the use of hands. now, the stepped up motors and damage will cost the nonprofit thousands to repair and replace. >> we're shut down. we cannot allow these people to sail if we can't support a mishap of rescue.

trying to retrieve his flip flop. another pair says the pair crawled through a hole in the fence. >> walmart pleaded guilty to federal criminal charges of negligently dumping pesticide and paint into storm drain as cross california. the company agreed to pay a fine of $81 million. walmart settled a lawsuit in 2010 by agreeing to pay a $27 million fine to california. a spokesperson says the company changed it's practice autos home prices nationwide jumped by 11% compared to a year ago to a.cording to standard & poor autos in san francisco the rate doubled to 22% up. but what's happening in bay area cities hardest hit bit foreclosure crisis? >> laura anthony is live with that part of the story. >> well, one looks at quarterly numbers places like antioch and other cities in the east bay are doing better.

his mother says he suffers from obsessive compulsive disorder as well as a neuroskrik disorder. >> news for the upcoming trayvon martin murder trial. included in the ruling are reverences to school suspension, marijuana use, text messages or past fighting. zimmerman pleaded not guilty in the shooting death of martin last year. the trial set to start june 10th. >> several law enforcement owe fishes are investigating threatening messages sent to jackie speier. a former marine and several current marines are being questioned for the messages. she has called attention to sex abuse in the military urging the shut down of facebook pages believed linked to military personnel.

>> police arrested three people in qex a shooting outside of the 13th street bart station just before 4:00 this morning. police say three men i car tried to rob three men on the street. >> three men in their 40s gunned down at 16th and mission this morning. the 40 and 47-year-old men were shot in the legs. the 46-year-old suffering from life threatening injuries. >> the victim shot in the torso. that is what we have at this point. >> the victim and witnesses did get a good look at the car that helped police. >> officers in the bay view district located the suspect vehicle and attempted to stop that vehicle. it appears the suspect vehicle backed into the patrol vehicle. >> one officer was hurt. he is expected to be okay. police arrested the three men

we're getting a look at video of damage left behind by a tornado tore through this kansas community yesterday. one business and two dozen homes were pulverized by the fierce winds. live stock from a farm are missing, a barn torn part bit twist yes, animals are believed to have been swept way by the tornado. >> you're looking and listening to frightening images of what it's like to be inside of the tornado. winds were 150 and 175 miles per hour. couple storm chasers recorded this yesterday afternoon f you're wondering how did they get this video and not get blown away? they were in this tank like machine, armor plated and weighs 14,000 pounds.

a set back for dj hayden, you'll recall he survived a near fatal jury in college
