until 6:00 a.m. the westbound commute is clear. it is an easy breezy drive to concord. this is the drive from...the golden gate bridge and traffic is pushed to the left-hand side and cones will be picked up at 5:00 a.m. >> police are looking for the man who tried to hold up a woman leaving nordstroms in walnut creek. abc7 news reporter amy hollyfield is at broadway plaza. >> very scary. can you imagine this open parking lot. we are standing on the sidewalk. you can see inside the parking lot from the street. it is lit. it is popular shopping center and always full of people. that may have been what helped her. she was attacked before 9:00 last night.

here the picture police have of the man who did this. get a good look, police are asking anyone who recognizes this man to give them a call in walnut creek. they believe he is 18 and 5' 4" tall, and is hispanic wearing black and white hooded sweatshirt. witnesses and victim say the man grabbed her purse as she walked to the car from the nordstroms and police say she struggled to keep her purse. another woman, another customer walking in the parking lot seemed to speak him. that is when he ran away. the victim did not lose her purse and she is okay. it was scary experience, though. anyone who knows anything of who could have done this, they want to get this man arrested so call

police. >> caltrain is investigating an accident after a man was hit by a train in san francisco's mission bay neighborhood before midnight. the man was taken to the hospital. his condition is not released. officials say he was struck by the last northbound train of the night which had 50 passengers. no one was hurt. the last southbound train was delayed 30 minutes. service is expected to run as urge. >> concerned residents in san jose are reacting to a spike in violent crime. a crime prevention meet was posted by council member at the library. it follows a violent weekend that left three people dead including to students from independence high school. the teens were shot on sunday behind the kohl's department department on rhinehart drive. residents say enough is enough. >> first time in 34 years i am not feeling safe. >> we have felt it for a long

non-life threatening injuries. he is expected to recover. >> the contra costa sheriff is looking if more victims of a former high school coach accused of molesting one child. police searched a pittsburg home connected to edwards. the 51-year-old is charged with rape and lewd acts on a child under 14. he is a former football coach at richmond's kennedy high school. athe state assembly approve add bill to make it legal for illegal immigrants to get a california's driver license even if they do not have the social security number. instead they who is to provide multiple documents to establish their identity including a birth certificate and proof of residency. under the legislation, two million people would become eligible for an i.d. card or driver's license. if approved it would take effect in january 2015.
