evidence. witnesses say they heard several shots and the person responsible was said to have been wearing a ski mask in all, three people were shot, and of the three, 17-year-old boy, was pronounced dead at the scene. another person who was with him, a male, was also shot. he ills at the hospital in critical condition. a woman was the third person hit by gunfire and is believed to have been an innocent bystander and her injuries are nonlife-threatening. we have not heard anything about what the motive may have been. friends of the 17-year-old boy who was shot to death say he whereas just released from juvenile home. >> it's a shame. another black man killed in oakland. these young men don't think about their lives. just get on the streets, and it's sad because it's the younger generation, the younger generation that are killing themselveses. reporter: oakland police haven't released any information on the gunman so there's no suspect description. but we have been told there may be surveillance video from one

of the stores that can help with the investigation. live in oakland, lillian kim, abc7 news. >> ama: police are investigating a series of other shootings that have hospitalized three other people since last night. a woman was shot just after nine last night. at 10:00 to two men were shot, and then a few minutes later, another man was shot, and crust before 11:00 this morning a man what shot in his car. the victim is in stable condition. this surveillance video may hold the key to identifying the person who shot three people during an illegal sideshow in oakland yesterday morning. one of the victims, 25-year-old woman, is in grave condition and on life support after being shot in the head. two men are expected to survive. witnesses say someone sprayed the crowd with gunfire after a party bus tried to drive through the sideshow.

tonight vallejo police are looking for a gun moan who shot and killed two people in a birthday party. the two men, seen in an earlier photo, were murdered in front of family and relatives. police say an armed man walked up the sidewalk, fired into the garage where the party was, and ran away. >> feeling bad. we're family, in shock. we can't believe it. we -- nobody know exactly why the people shot. >> we're looking for a hispanic male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5'6", to 5'8" tall, with a medium build. >> ama: each man had four children. another man and a teenager were also wounded in the shooting. developing news now from southern california. the powerhouse fire, at least six homes have been destroyed by the fire. nearly 3,000 residents in lake

elizabeth and lake hughs have been evacuated. the fire exploded overnight because of high winds. firefighters are now concentrating on saving lives and property. the fire, a 25,000 acres, is now moving toward the high desert town of lancaster and palmdale. it's just 20% contained. let's get right to leigh glaser for a look at the conditions they're facing right now fighting the fire. >> leigh: overnight temperatures last night in the mid-70s. so, not a lot of recovery for those folks overnight tonight. current temperature right now, 80 degrees, relative humid, starting to get a little better. it's at 22%. we like to see that at 15%. gusts to 40 miles-per-hour. looking closer, you can see the low cloud and fog sitting off the coast and it's just going to rotate inland overnight tonight and tomorrow. so, that is a bit of good news. the air mass will start to moisten a little bit but as the

cooler air flow and that could possibly help some of the fire efforts there. but like i said before it's going to take 4 -- 24 to 36 hours before they get the full effect. >> in new mexico crews are fighting two large uncontained wildfires. a fire outside santa fe has burned 11,000 acres. so far, no homes have burned. new details tonight from the aftermath of the tornado that hit the midwest. oklahoma authorities increased the death count to 13. the number includes three storm chasers, four children, and six adults. seven people including five children are missing. emergency workers are combing through flooded areas looking for survivors. >> the same storm system is moving south and east. near kentucky there's heavy flooding, and while severe thunderstorm warnings have been issued in vermont, num, new

mexico, and most -- new hampshire and morse of maine. the are three hour delays at the airport in new york. >> rescue crews are searching for a 19-year-old who was swept over a waterfall in yosemite national park. park officials say the has he was last seen at 3:00 edafternoon swimming above the nevada falls. dog teams and search and rescue crews are searching the merced river. >> new at 6:00, woman swimming in the alcatraz escape from the rock event today had to be pull from the bay after suffering ag an asthma attack. rescue boat took the 24-year-old swimmer to fort mason and was taken to the hospital and released. 225 swimmers took part in the race. >> workers armed with chainsaws

removed a tree that fell and injured two people in san jose. >> half of the treeland on three cars cars and the other half crashed on the lawn bowling green. it happened while the san jose lawn bowling club hosted a party, including 49ers coaching staffs and their wives. nobody was hurt. >> san francisco police are questioning two men after the car they were in plowed through an internet cafe. officers say they received a call around 6:00 this morning that two people sleeping inside a car in the excel shore district. at some point the driver took off, speeding for a block before slamming into the building on mission street. no one was injured. still to come at 6:00. the road construction that could have a major impact on your commute starting tomorrow. and get ready to pay more at the pump. prices could be much worse. what makes this year different.

two bridge decks of this morning westbound traffic was shifted to the eastbound lanes, creating two lanes in both directions. the project is expected to last three months. >> the morning commute expect additional delay. people should be aware of that. there's reduced lanes. we have fournes on one bridge no shoulders. >> ama: the bridge detour begins just east of the toll plaza. on saturday, caltrans shut down the western drive onramp on eastbound 580. big rigs have to make a nine-mile detour. >> more construction this time for water pipe replacement, could snarl traffic beginning tomorrow in san anselmo. the pipe being remailed dates back to 1883 when chester arthur was president and has been plagued by leaks and breaks. it's expected to take ten weeks. drivers are paying more at the pump. about a penny more a gallon.

lots of blue sky. low clouds and fog starting to move in through the golden gate right now. san francisco, 58. we have 71 in san jose. half moon bay, 57. this is what i'm talking about. you can see a little bit of the fog already starting to move in to downtown san francisco. santa rosa holding heat at 80. fairfield, 86. we have 78 in livermore and los gatos, 7 degrees. so we'll look for the low clouds and fog to move further inland overnight. we'll start off with gray sky tomorrow morning and then a cooler day tomorrow afternoon, and just for at least the next several days look for soldier -- seasonal temperatures. 70s inland and also look for some 50s at the coast. lows tonight, a little bit cooler. since we weren't as warm today, so we'll go 50 for half moon bay, low clouds and fog will sit, maybe a little drizzle tomorrow morning, and then

stretch it out to 60 degrees in antioch. low pressure -- remember yesterday was high pressure. that kicked towards the east. this low is pushing south, counterclockwise spin. stronger onshore wind component, cooler air mass, and all the low clouds, well, those west winds are just going to push further inland, so definitely cooler temperatures. and inland communities tomorrow, we start off this evening, 11:00, you can see that strong westerly wind flow will push the fog back right through the gaps in the north bay and also right near the coast. 5:00 a.m. commute time tomorrow morning, look for gray sky near the peninsula, and in through san francisco bay. but by noontime this should peel back to the coast. so, it won't be a total wash tomorrow. we'll look for partly sunny conditions coastside opposite this moves out, and then inland, cooler temperatures tomorrow put still going to be plenty of sunshine for you. in fact, temperatures very
