>> live from the kgo-tv broadcast center this is abc7 news, for the second time in over a month, a fire breaks out inside a limousine packed with women. they made it out safely this time but many wondering how could it happen again? good morning, everyone, that one of the questions for walnut creek police who are investigating the fire and now they are alerting the c.h.p. who still have an open investigation into a fatal limousine fire on the san mateo bridge. more from abc7 news reporter amy

hollyfield. >> what happened here was terrifying for the women, but police point out to me that it was a vehicle fire with no injuries that happened on private property and they say at this point there is no indication that a crime was committed. here is a shot of the limo after the fire carrying ten women mostly if their 90's, and they had some care tackers with them on way to a birthday party in sonoma. before they left the development, right here, they smelled smoke. they get out safely. police think the fact there was a limousine fire last month on the san mateo bridge played a role if their quick thinking and why they also think that is why this limo fire that happened yesterday is getting attention. >> it is highly inbound. if the golden gate the cinco ded not occurred without not be interviewing me, but that is what caused the people to be so alert about the smell of smoke

and the dangers and why they get out. there is in crime at this point. we are happy that everyone escaped uninjured. if something towns up that shows any sort of negligence we will look it to it further. >> last month, five women died when the limo they were riding caught fire and they were caught in the bridge. four women escaped along with the driver. therapy on the way to a bridal shower and the bride is one of the five who fired. it made national news. walnut creek police say that the one that happened yesterday is getting attention because of the similarities but at this point they don't have plans to inspect the limousine because it was towed an by a private company and they don't think a crime was committed. i spoke with the public utility commission looking into and to make sure the driver and the company was this good standing. they are working on that right now so we hope to get more

answers from them later today. the owner of town car is calling this a "manufacturing defect" and says he takes good care of his cars. authorities are investigating thousands of dollars work of marijuana found during a house fire in san francisco this morning, and it break out shortly before 1:00 o'clock at a home on 35th avenue in richmond district. when the firefighters entered the home they found 700 pot plants. >> we discovered quite a bit of pot plants and a lot of wiring and electrical hookups in the back of the garage and it made it difficult for us. we found fire in the rear corner and kept units on the scene and knocked the down the. >> police loaded bags full of pot on a truck but no one was home. >> new details about a man held up near san francisco's mascone
