beautiful sight. >> developing news from the east bay, berkeley police are searching for a man wanted for sexually assaulting a little boy if a public bathroom. the search is focused around the berkeley marina on university avenue. sky 7 was overhead as an officer looked through every vehicle. police think he could still be in the yeah after the assault described as african-american with blond hair and green streaks. >> weird to happen in the middle of the day on a police where so much foot traffic. >> police say the child is physically okay and with his family. we will have much more in a report next half hour with abc7 news reporter amy hollyfield. >> new details in the worker killed at the 49ers stadium. construction work at site is shut down today. officials are investigating the

could be out of character for a neighborhood. the meeting is underway at 6:30 at the sausalito city hall. >> the pacifica city council has unanimously passed a ban on 4th of july fireworks effective next year and will be banned on rockaway, sharp park beach, manor but still permitted on a small portion of some parking lots. many complain of noise and liter from the fireworks with wildlife living near the areas. this goes into affect next year. water rates will rise in the east bay imposing two years of double digit rate hikes totaling 19 percent to replace revenues lost because of decrease water usage during the detroit.

south bay. 280 northbound, involving an overturned vehicle but no slowing. this is the big one along 101 northbound look at that, 15 miles per hour down to thin -- 13 so bumper-to-bumper traffic. 101 southbound from petaluma to 580 is 33 minutes and highway 4 antioch to concord under half an hour at 18 minutes southbound into san jose. >> developing news from berkeley. police have put out a unique suspect description in a sexual assault of a young boy. abc7 news reporter amy hollyfield is at the marina and the search. >> the victim is describing the man as black man, blond hair, with green streaks. police responded immediately. check out the video searching cars as people left the berkeley marina. they got the call at 1:30 a

bail after police arrested him on monday, investigators say provide hid in the back seat of a 16-year-old girl's car after parking to shop. she runed and he forced her at night point to a remote location but she escaped. he was identified from evidence in the vehicle. >> there was a deadly shooting in antioch. police say a 21-year-old was shot at 1:30 this morning and taken to the hospital but did not survive. police have not releases details on any suspects or possible motive. antioch police are investigating the death of a man found if a home. officers were called to a house near canada hills drive at 6:00 and discovered the body of a 70-year-old man. police have not released his name or details. they are treating it as a homicide. >> from san francisco, a high

speed chase involving a man on a motorcycle ends in a crash and happened on 19th avenue. the motorcycle driver crashed after hitting two cars. the chase began this pacifica at 12:30 at highway one and 280. the motorcycle took off going at least 100 miles per hour and the driver was treated on the scene and taken to the hospital. >> from contra costa county, firefighters battled a grass fire in antioch that started before 11:00 and funded 15 acres ' crews contained it. the area is also near the contra costa county bus yard. there were no injuries reported. >> the giants fan beaten nearly to death outside domeers stadium is out of repack and at home but not by choice. his family says their insurance stopped paying for the we rehab center after suffering a severe

>> covering novato, oakland, sunnyvale and all the bay area this is abc7 news. >> there four massive wildfires, and katie marzullo is in the newsroom with the latest update. >> we have learned of 900 inmates a state prison near colorado springs moved to another location, officials say the heavy smoke is what dangerous and the fire is not actually close to the prison. look at pictures from colorado right now from a distance. a great vantage point for the smoke, a massive smoke plume covering large portions of the state. there are more than 150 firefighters on the ground near colorado springs and one rescued a baby dee from the flames of the black forest fire north of colorado springs is burning out
