with average viewership over the last ten years up 37% for the regular season. more than the nfl, nascar, and major league baseball. but the business of basketball goes way beyond the hard core, for the coveted few, the money is in the hardware, they make the most money from shoe sales and the basketball shoe business is exploding once again. lebron james, kevin and kobe bryant make more than $20 million a year from nike, which is 90% of the basketball shoe market above $100. it is not just shoes. this turkish airlines commercial starring kobe bryant with the soccer great went viral in less time than gangnam style. with endorsements, they make
