about a ten-minute drive. it is 5:01 now. new details on the labor troubles that you could shut down b.a.r.t. next week. two of b.a.r.t.'s biggest unions set to take a strike vote tuesdays before their contract expires. matt keller is live at fremont b.a.r.t. with more. >> reporter: that strike vote authorization is scheduled for next tuesday and if that happens, it could eventually lead to people head willing here to b.a.r.t. stations, like this one here in fremont, being forced to find another way to work in the morning. b.a.r.t. union workers were handing out leaf throats riders warning ofs a possible strike on july 1st if they don't receive pay increase and better production. current contract expires june 30th. b.a.r.t. says its trains and facilities need to be overhold and asking workers pay into their pensions and more for medical insurance.

cell phone over to investigators after breaking it into pieces first. surveillance video reportedly shows hernandez this week with the victims just hours before he was killed. this morning, investigators trying to determine the cause of a muni bus crash in san francisco. the bus pushed a car nearly a block. it happened at may sonic avenue and oak street just before 6:30 last night a mune spokesperson says the drive over the car made an illegal turn in front of the bus. witnesses say the bus hit it and kept going a police say a passenger on the bus had to run to the front and help driver brake. the only injury was to the bus driver who was taken to the hospital with back pain. and 7 news reporter amy hollyfield, will have a live report with reaction from witnesses in the next half hour. >> 5:04 now. oakland police hope video of a brazen theft will lead them to the suspects. take a look. somebody ran to a union 76 gas station on park boulevard yesterday morning and stole an atm this is surveillance video

from the gas station. you can see the truck back into a bulletproof window three times before it was able to crash all the way through. then a man attached chain to the machine to pull it off the wall two men then lifted the heavy atm into the back of the trunk and drove off. this all took less than two minutes. the front of the store was destroyed. the store's owner tells abc 7 news he recently had the surveillance cameras repaired. federal agents need your help catching an accused mail fraud suspect who may be looking for a tech job in the bay area. u.s. marshals service says 38-year-old bruce lee marshall is wanted for mail fraud charges after he scammed $100,000 from a san francisco tech startup where he once worked. agents believe he is still in the bays area and is looking for work as a software engineer. a judge has issued an arrest warrant for melvin mallard of los angeles.

witnesses say the driver of that black car, that volkswagen, was not hurt. >> surprised. he was like, i'm okay. i'm okay. probably shocked now, but he was in really good shape then, if there was a passenger, they would be dead now. >> sought bus and car here, amazed there's no fatalities from t just an amazing destruction of the vehicle. >> reporter: it happened last night about 6:30 on may sonic at oak. witnesses say the weirdest part was that the bus kept going. it seemed to be out of control, even after the crash. and a passenger had to run to the front of the bus and stop it for the driver. no one could figure out why he had to do that, but that bus crashed right into the panhandle. very lucky there weren't pedestrians walking through there on the panhandle and didn't get hit. it was the quick thinking of that passenger that people are now calling him a hero. reporting live in san francisco, amy hollyfield, abc7 news. >> amy, thanks.

police evidence markers on the sidewalk show that numerous rounds were fired during the shooting. a 4-year-old girl is recovering after fall outing of the a second story window of a home in england. it happened on 23rd avenue near international boulevard yesterday afternoon. the girl was knocked unconscious. a good samaritan jumped a fence and held her until paramedics arrived. she is expected to be okay. police are still investigating how the girl fell. a union city family is struggling to come to terms with the loss of a 6-year-old child. he died monday when the family dog attacked him. the family wanted to tell abc7 news reporter vic lee about what happened to 6-year-old nephi selu. he just graduated from kindergarten last week. monday, as he was playing in the backyard with his cousins, they say nephi had been riding the dog like a horse when it suddenly threw him down and bit him on the head. relatives say it is especially hard to understand since the boy and the pitbull were best of friends. the boy's uncle, a san mateo police officer, says he bought

the dog two years ago. >> brought the dog into our home as a pet to help protect life and to help watch over. by no means did we know it was going to take life. >> vic says the family wants to send a message that their child was precious and no matter how much a pet becomes a member of the family, they are still animals and they can be unpredictable. this morning, monterey county spca is expected to ask the district attorney to file charges in a case of animal neglect. the agency rescued 17 animals covered in scabies and fleas and suffering from malnourishment. they were taken from a woman who claimed to run a rescue group. she was selling her animals at petsmart and petco in monterrey. two people who bought dogs from her contracted scabies. this case might be connected to 61 other dogs rescued from an animal shelter in squaw valley. the spca is concerned about

other animals the woman sold and that woman is nowhere to be found. a 36-year-old convicted sex offender is scheduled to be arraigned on charges of raping a 60-year-old woman in the laundry room of a mill valley apartment complex on sunday. our media partner, the marin independent journal, reports leroy anthony clark could face 50 years to life in prison if convicted. a judge raised his bail yesterday to $1 million. clark was arrested tuesday after the victim identified him by looking through a series of photos. after more than a year, the search headquarters for missing morgan hill teenager, sierra lamar, has been relocated. the volunteer search center is set up at central high school in morgan hill, two miles from its original location at burnett elementary. volunteers have searched more than 1500 square miles since the 15-year-old disappeared in march of last year. 22-year-old angelina garcia torres is in custody on murder charges but has not entered a plea. he is due back in court next thursday. governor brown would fight

governor brown would fight a federal appeals court order that would put more california inmates on the streets. a three-judge panel reaffirmed yesterday the state has to release nearly 10,000 prison inmates by the end of the year to reduce overcrowding. the state has already freed 40,000 inmates to comply with the previous court order. the governor says releasing any more inmates will decrease public safety. the judges say they will cite governor brown with attempt of court if he doesn't release inmates immediately. modest growth in may with the unemployment rates remaining at 9%. experts forecast the state will have added between 17,000 and 20,000 jobs last month. economists say the bay area job market is still growing but that growth is slowing down. residents served by the sanitary district between san ramon and martinez will see an 18% increase in their sewer
