coverage of the supreme court decisions on air and on-line when they happen on twitter, facebook, and our news app and right here on abc7 news. authorities in the north bay are looking for four men who tried to kidnap a 15-year-old girl on saturday night near a taco bell. the 15-year-old sold police a green lexus pulled up next to her as she walked home from a park and four men got out, called her "cute" and asked her to get in a car and grabbed her arm. she got away and ran back to her family at the park. she described the suspect as black man in his mid-20's at 5' 10" with short hair. the sheriff has no description for the other men. >> equipment failure is blamed for a massive power outage along the central coast that left 145,000 customers in the dark.

reports san carlos taxpayers pay the salaries of the firefighters who would get an average of 13 percent pay hike to match the redwood city colleagues. two years ago san carlos pulled from a joint fire protection agreement with belmont complaining it costs too much. >> today alameda will mark the transfer of the former naval air station to the city. the city is holding a ceremony to mark phase one of the land transfer which includes more than 500 acres of prime real estate. the navy closed the base in -- 20 years ago taking away 14,000 jobs but agreed to turn the land over to the city for free. over land will be turned over when the environmental clean up is finished. the city hopes to attract 9,000 corporate research and development jobs. >> the postal service is holding a job fair to fill hundreds of positions particularly for those looking to work in the south bay. they are hiring 500 new hail --

>> welcome back. authorities have released the name of the woman who died in san francisco bay. investigators say the 60-year-old was in a minivan that plunged in the bay in san francisco on friday. divers pulled her from the vehicle on sunday morning. they are trying to figure out why the van went in the water. >> two men are under arrest for assault on a taxi driver in santa rosa and taken into custody yesterday morning. police say the men were riding with a woman in a cab and they started arguing with the driver. the driver told them to get out

they attacked the driver. the driver drove to the jail to get help but they jumped out in the drive. police arrested the men and released the woman. the driver suffered substantial injuries to his face and head. >> an oakland community is shaken up after a brazen home invasion robbery the latest in a rash of robberies in the upper diamond neighborhood. residents in the community are responding. >> two men use add crowbar to breakthrough the door while a woman and her grandson were asleep inside. >> came back in the bedroom and asked where the money and jewelry was. i told them. they cleared out whatever else they could from my belongings and took jewelry off of me. >> police are checking surveillance video at a gas station where the woman's credit card was used 20 minutes later. neighbors say break-ins are picking up lately. while we were here police answered a call at a home where they found the front door was
