let's turn with a look at what's happening now. >> here is the view right now. you can see most of the bay area is not receiving sig rant rainfall. but still we have pockets of scattered showers, sprinkles and an occasion yam localized brief down pour. you can see eastward, then northward into parts of mendocino county and lake county. it's not very wide spread at the moment. confined to the north way. and during overnight period taking a look at rainfall totals and the records set for this date we have a record rainfall for this date now in napa, fairfield, and oakland and in st. helena, a lot of rain. how about this record? livermore just 1/100ths is setting a record for this

tenants say terrorizes them day and night. the apartment building is on fulton street. that is where he was arrested yesterday accused of breaking into one of the units. vic lee is in the newsroom with the story. the landlord was arrested and charged with trespassing resisting arest and battery on a police officer. who brork his knee and ended up in the hospital. tenants and lawyers tell us problem was this landlord have gone on for years. a tenant took this video. >> what i say. >> after taking a swing, he charges after him. >> your face right now! >> in this video the tenant

the family of a young man killed in oakland is appealing to the public for help tonight and uping awards to get that help the 23-year-old shot two weeks ago when he did the right thing stopping after a minor fender bebd bender. >> just waiting for him owe walk through the door. >> tomorrow will mark two weeks since he was shot and killed in this neighborhood thchl afternoon family and friends of the 22-year-old gathered in the spot where he was murdered. his mother made a heart felt plea to the public for help. >> whoever knows anything i encourage them to come

build an arena on the san francisco water front. lawmakers changed a bill letting san francisco use water front property for a new arena without going through regular review. backers wanted an exemption from the process in order to fast track this project. but an environmental group today applauded the decision accusing warriors and san francisco after tempting a legislative end end run around important regulation autos education news. a stand ford study says a charter schools are performing better in part because good charter schools remained open and bad ones have closed. stanford researchers found students in charter schools did slightly better in reading than kids in traditional public schools. in math, they were just about even. the study compares apples to apples meaning comparing
