noirj has been called for saturday. >> anger and frustration in marin city over a police shooting that left a driver injured on july 7th when a sheriff deputy stopped a 44-year-old chalka grace on. police say grace on -- graceon tried to run over the deputy. today members of the african american community rallied behind graceon and expressed distrust of the police. >> i think it's a problem between the police and this community. that has gone on way too long. >> graceon being held in jail but has not been charged. the group opposes the police investigating the incident. they say it's a conflict of interest because the deputy's wife works for novato police. today novato police would only tell abc 7 news the case is under investigation. >> family and frinldz honored one of the young victims of

asiana flight 214 today. she died after suffering from a very serious injuries in a crash july 6th. >> it's hard to accept they need a lot of comforts and i think the prayers helped him. >> cameras were not allowed he is one of three teen-aged girl who's died in the crash. they were both found dead after the crash. >> a total of 11 people continued to recover at local hospitals. six in san francisco general. two patients under critical condition. two people listed in good condition. three hospitals are all caring for one patient each.

their conditions not critical. >> santa clara county prosecutors filed felony charges today against a ymca child care worker. the 20-year-old is accused of sexual assaulting a 6-year-old girl under his care. he fought back tears during a court hearing where bail was denied. charges against him carry a possible life sentence. he will be back in court tuesday to enter a plea. in mountain view an emply ploiy of little acorn preschool has been put on leave investigators investigate reports of a child being touched inappropriately. the school sent letters home to parents to make them aware of this ongoing investigation. the employee has not been arrested and not facing charges at this point. >> two men on trial in the gang rape of a teenager outside of a home coming dance will hear verdicts tomorrow. jurors reached a verdict today

in the case against a 22-year-old. a separate jury reached a decision yesterday but that was sealed until both verdicts could be read. the attack happened outside lich -- richmond high school in 2009. >> happening now in oakland the port reopening after a day long closure to mourn the death of a co-worker. union employees's tribute angered people and put the port operations way behind. abc 7 news is live at the port with the latest on the story. >> within past two years the gate opened up behind me. in cases we're told it's a tradition dating back to 19 30s.

long shoreman stand down 24 hours when a member dies on the job. it looks like it at first death was not from an accident. as evidence by this sleeping driver not much moved today at the port of oakland shut down by long shoreman's union. he had a medical issue driving a tractor. she died in a local hospital. >> we shut down 24 hours to investigate. the accident and mourn losses. and we lost a great union woman. joy daniel autos it's a long stand prague tra decision to take 24 hours off after someone dies on the job. in this case according to union the 45-year-old died of a seizure natural cause that's were unrelated to work at the port. >> just a matter of waiting.
