man from palo alto. the accident happened around 11:00 yesterday morning. authorities say the plane had just taken off from south lake tahoe airport. 67-year-old man a pilot of 20 years and his wife were the only two on board. he was killed on impact. his wife was pinned under the plane but survived. she is involving at a hospital. the couple was running to palo alto after spending a weekend in tahoe with their family. >> new developments in the rough landing of a southwest airline jets at new york's that guardia. airport officials just reopened the runway 30 minutes ago. new video surfaced of the accident and you can see the sparks flying off the 737 when the landing gear collapsed. there were 150 people on the flight from nashville. six were taken to the hospital. crews cleared the plane last night but this morning, almost 100 flights have been canceled and the f.a.a. and ntsb are investigating. >> investigators are looking

into the deadly limousine fire on the bridge and have questioned the driver's estranged wife about their phone calls that night. we reported in june that air springs ruptured leading to the fire that killed five women. part of the investigation also focused on driver and his actions. his estranged wife said they had a heated fight and were arguing on the phone and she claims he was on his phone while victims were were trapped inside the limousine. >> i am sure he could have saved them, you know? he was too busy on the phone. and i know he was videotaping. >> we contacted brown for a response and he did not comment but his brother says that brown is looking forward to the official findings of the investigation. >> police in cam well are searching if the driver who rammed a car into a group of san jose bicyclists injuring one,

toward santa theresa, we have better radar run so some of the light rain is falling and stretching through san jose up toward sunnyvale and milpitas we may have a few sprinkles on the dumbarton and san mateo bridge to san francisco and the bay bridge. you can see how it is moving backwards. usually our weather moves from west to east and now it is moving west to east. you best radar returns are headed to the peninsula and the peninsula coast. we have more developing out around tracy and moving through the altamont pass, so it looks like the east bay valley you may get a few sprinkles the next 45 minutes or so and you can see the sprinkles moving away from santa rosa headed to the northwest condition of sonoma county. as far as what is happening our temperatures are in the 50's to mid-60 so it is definitely

if you travel from marin across the golden gate bridge and headed through the park you may encounter wet weather there. away from san bruno and on 280 you can see monterey bay and to the south of pacifica we have a better chance of light rain. on the san mateo we have a few sprinkles falling over at foster city. more developing not south and this is across the south bay and monterey bay the best areas for sprinkles to light rain during the commute with scattered ones in the north by. the heavy storms are in the high country so we have a flash flood warnings through yosemite and at tahoe. the clouds are hacking around and it is partly sunny and humid and isolated sprinkle or shore is possible. this moves away tonight and

tomorrow and through the weekend it will be brighter and remain warmer. 79 in milpitas, and that is the low point in the south bay. we will go from the low-to-mid 80's and up to 87 in morgan hill. san jose will be 82. the peninsula has mid-70's around millbrae and 80's elsewhere. the coast is low do mid-60's with pockets of sunshine and near 70 in sausalito and south san francisco and mid-70's in the north bay valley and low-to-mid 60's over at the shore and low-to-upper 70's along the east bay sure from richmond at 70 to 78 in richmond and the east bay valley it will be muggy and you may want to turn on the air conditioning, mid-80's to near 90 with humidity feeling one or two degrees warmers. the threat is over after today. the air will dry and seasonal temperatures come back with 90's inland and mid-to-upper 70's around the bay and low-to-mid 60's at the coast. be careful. leyla gulen?

>> we are finding areas where this could be drizzle affecting the drive especially if you look at this map you can see areas covered in green. that indicates where drizzle may have hit the pavement and you need to slow the speed because it could be slick. as we take you to construction along the peninsula northbound 280 from county line, san mateo county, to highway 84 we will have one lane blocked and that will last until 8:00 a.m. with several projects along 280 in this area with installation and pavement work and things of that nature. as we look at our drive time traffic from tracy to dublin 26 minutes gets you there. from antioch to concord, that is 18 minutes. 101, san rafael to san francisco is only 16 minutes. in san jose, 280 away from 17 is quiet. now too many cars. three vehicles only in the
