garlic festival. special year for the festival around for 35 years. david? >> there is no question about it w garlic oweddor is the big attraction along with meat, seafood and ice cream that garlic can enhance, this being the 35th anniversary is a reminder how a simple idea can turn into a major annual event. >> 35 years ago maybe 300 people showed up now are, 100,000 people showed up. bob is part of the team that stands behind the stoves. they make a signature scampi dish with garlic. his father was one of the foundersest festival. 1979 seems like yesterday. >> that first year it was just my father and i that did all
