happening in florida. where a series of powerful explosion have rocked a propane plant in the central part of the state tonight. fire authorities say that several people have been killed. this all started 3 hours ago. >> there were 24 people working at the plant when this began. emergency crew searching for 15 of them. unaccounted for right now. according to the sheriff's department. about an hour and a half after the fire started it then spread to several truck that were also loaded with propane tank. >> neighbors say the blast shook the homes. they describe the fir as a giant fire ball that could be seen up to 5 miles away. the blue rhino propane plenty is in the area located 40 miles north west of orlando. >> people living within a mile of the site have been ordered to evacuate. authorities say they have the fire contained to the plenty property. nobody outside the plant has been injured. we continue to follow this and reporting continues right now on twitter at this site. good evening everyone. i'm in for dan.
