say a man was shot and killed on 80th near international boulevard before midnight. no word about any suspects. in antioch police are looking for the person who pulled the trigger on two hen in a car, one is dead and another critically injured last night at 7:30 after reports of shot fired near delta fair shopping center. a white point was found a couple of blocks away with two men and one victim was from richmond dying at the scene. the other man, from vallejo, was rushed to the hospital. police are looking for a suspect vehicle, a gold colored four door honda or chevrolet. >> a child leaving a candle unattended is the cause of a fire that destroyed a home last night before 7:00. the candle lit the curtains on fire and the home was engulfed when firefighters arrived. they weapon the fire from spreading to other homes. crews had to clear people out of

the street because of the power lines. >> a student is suing a school district because administrators should done more to prevent a teacher from molesting students. joseph martin was put on leave in april over molesting a student saying he was allowed to go back to the classroom to said goodbye and he cornered an 11-year-old to convince him not to report the molestation. the child's lawyer says officials newest problem as early at 2007 but did nothing martin was arrested in june. he has been charged with 91 counts of child molestation involving 11 former students. >> the family of a missing oakland girl says they are not giving up hope for her run. 21-month-old daphne webb disappear three weeks ago. the father says she was taken from a car when he extend into a store in oakland. the public is urged to come

men. he hosts yesterday's blood drive and signed up to donate but was not allowed to give blood. the food and drug administration bars men who have had sex with other men from donating because of the aids epidemic. he is openly gay and wants the f.d.a. to rethink the regulation. >> it is ironic i can host the blood drove but i cannot donate blood. let's use this opportunity to demonstrate this are members that want to contribute of themselves to sacrifice and save the lives of others. >> the f.d.a. estimates the chance of contracting h.i.v. or aid from donated blood is one in two million. >> the american red cross says the summer is a challenge getting blood donations with many donors on vacation the organization is recording low levels of blood donations. northern california blood services issued an emergency call for donations in june. since then donations are up 15 percent but they say they are still short. northern california blood banks

notice the clouds will come across san francisco and start to fill in the east bay shore. some are going to push down the lower valleys of the north bay and head to petaluma in the fiscal year few hours. by 9:00, we are look at partly cloudy to mostly sunny conditions. to the coast we will see a lack of cloud cover but it fills in the coast as we head in the afternoon hours and pockets of sunshine will open while the rest us sunny this afternoon. as far as temperatures, we are below average. we are supposed to be 83 in san jose and only 76 degrees today, and 72 in sunnyvale and near 80 if los gatos, and morgan hill and gilroy. low to mid 70's up the peninsula and millbrae is 68. we continue out at 58 pacifica today and same in daly city and colma and warmer downtown and south san francisco, mid-60's for you, cross the golden gate bridge, sausalito, 65, and mid-to-upper 70's this afternoon. this morning, we are in the 40's and low 50's and when they go out there and start grabbing the

>> a small bug is causing big problems in the san joaquin valley which has forced the state department of food and agriculture to put 178 square miles under quarantine. it is where six bugs were found two weeks away. the pest can kill citrus trees. the fruits need to be cleansed of all leaves and stems and that trees must be sprayed. eight other california counties have also gotten quarantines because of the bug.
