monday morning. we have been monitoring the negotiations in oakland. here's the latest. reporter: bottom line is, no settlement yet, and that midnight deadlines closing in fast. both sides are still talking here at the caltrans building you can see some members of the atu taking a break. tonight it's a last-ditch effort to avoid a b.a.r.t. strike. >> with the deadline clock ticking both sides were back the bargaining table sunday morning to try and aindividual a b.a.r.t. strike. b.a.r.t. negotiator said there's reason to be hopeful. >> nobody is saying we're -- we're not saying we're not go to strike, and everyone wants a solution, and that's positive. >> but members of the amalgamated transit union seem
