they described "suspicious activity" but they are feeling very nervous. some residents were sleeping and a couple were watching a movie but most jumped in action when they heard three shots fired after midnight. >> my neighbors, james, call 9-1-1 some guy is laying in the street. we went down there and my daughter took a blanket. >> james watched the 33-year-old man take his last breath lying here in unincorporated hayward. police say the victim does not live on this street. >> don't know why he was here. he does not live in this close area but he is a resident of alameda county. he is not complete outsider. >> residents have seen him here but they do not know him the. >> i have seen him pass my house to go to the house over there on

the corner. >> a woman too afraid to appear on canada saw the shooting and says two people were sitting in a car waiting for the victim. the shooting came as a surprise to many. a good neighborhood. sad. i don't think anyone is immune. >> police conducted the investigation and no one was allowed in or out of the crime tape which caused problems for parents needing to take their kids somewhere or trying to get in to the daycare center on the block. >> i am sure they will be asking a lot of question. it doesn't look good. >> they have re-opened this estate but lots of questions remain. police have not made any arrest and they do not know the motive behind the killing and they are working to identify the victims. a 30-year-old woman riding a bicycle is dead after colliding with a big rig in san francisco.

city college of san francisco is set to lose its accreditation a year from now unless major reforms are made. it is not clear what impact if any this information will have on the school's future or its students. >> new details just in, in the death of a woman at san jose city college, we were over the scene and santa clara county coroner says 49-year-old woman was the woman struck and killed by a front loader, and instruction worker backed up on a walkway hitting gonzalez on a sidewalk at the fine arts building. >> sign posted outside the courthouse almost jeopardized the trial of suspected serial killer joseph naso. the where of a victim made a sign that said "naso killed my sister," but the judge determined members of the jury did not see it. if they had the case could have ended in a mistrial. closing arts will get underway at 1:30 this afternoon. he is accused of murdering four

this afternoon, we do have a small craft advisory for the bay area and into the delta from 2:00 to 8:00, west winds around 15- to 25-miles per hour and the same shaded areas or colors over the ocean, the winds from the northwest as 15- to 25-knots so it could be choppy. now, the winds are faster than yesterday, with sfo around 13 miles per hour and same in fairfield and ten in napa and everyone else is below average so it is not going to be a fast wind outside of the bay water and the bay shore that develops. look at cloud cover, it looks different than yesterday and we have more clouds along the coast because of the sea breeze and up there near south lake tahoe you can see a bit of smoke but not as rest length and it will move away from us but that is in the sierra. 59 in san francisco and half moon bay and a lost mid-60's in the bay shore and an 84 in antioch, a warmer spot today as you make a run in the mid-90's.

beautiful picture, postcard perfect, i hope all the folks heading around san francisco are enjoying the sunshine. it will be summer today, and summer sunshine everywhere but for the coast, more clouds tonight as the sea breeze is more established and we start our slow cooling trend tomorrow through saturday. from mount tamalpais, you can see a finger of fog barely making it across the golden gate bridge and above it, the picture is taken at the lower level is good and to the head lands you could run into a few clouds, two to seven degrees warmer today is the big story. the temperatures in the south bay are 87 in san jose and 90's around los gatos and morgan hill and 80's for the peninsula and millbrae and san mateo mid-to-upper 70's and mid-to-upper 70's along the coast and flirting with low 70's in downtown san francisco near 90 through the north bay valley. we will make a run at 80 in oakland. fremont is the warm spot at 83. the east bay valley we go, low-to-mid 90's and they need
