northbound, rather, south palo alto, northbound 101 at shoreline boulevard is where we have the accident, a spinout, that has one lane blocked. so far you can see cars are moving well with no slow downs in the northbound or southbound direction so the drive is not too shad by. now a look at the san mateo bridge, if you are headed into the peninsula, away from the east bay, that shows the tail lights westbound headed across to the high-rise and it is looking clear into foster city. eric? >> vetoing news, an out of control fire at yosemite is threatening 2,500 homes and forced evacuations, highway 120, a main route in the park, is closed in both directions and campgrounds are under evacuation order including a camp that was hosted a special week for 200 senior citizens. the camp is owned and operated by the city of san francisco. the rim fire has destroyed at

breeze developing and that will keep our temperatures about one to four degrees cooler today than they were yesterday. now, we will talk about our forecast highlights, the most important things moving failure, thunderstorms and fire, best in the north bay today, and cooler and cloudy nights coming back in our forecast as the marine layer is more prevalent in the overnight hours that keeps our temperatures below average in the afternoon through the weekend. today, though, same thing, we are below average at 80 in san jose and mid-to-upper 80's in gilroy and mid-to-upper 70's in the heart of the santa clara valley and santa cruz is about 73 degrees. a last 70's along the peninsula from 78 in mountain view to 72 at millbrae and mid-60's to the coast and clouds and 64 at the coast. warmer downtown in south san francisco in the upper 60's. mid-to-upper 60's for north bay

beaches and inland 10 or 15 degrees warmer from 77 in san rafael and santa rosa to, possibly, 79 in napa and 70 in berkeley is cool in the east bay shore and richmond at 77 for a warm spot in fremont and mid-to-upper 80's in the east bay valleys with concord at 84 and brentwood at 89. now, as far as the area of low pressure you can see it started to move to the north and making a slow jog to the north and it will accelerate rapidly tomorrow but as it transitions we could see the moisture rotating to us and the best chance of that is in the sierra with the natural lifting there and overnight and through tomorrow we have our best chance in the north bay and during the afternoon hours tomorrow, it will be mostly to the north and east of us so when we get beyond the morning rush hour the threat will rain. temperatures tomorrow are the same as today, and friday is a little bit of a warming trend and two to four degrees warmer and the sea breeze comes back

to dublin and 101 southbound from san francisco and looking good, and from 101 to los gatos is 23 minute commute. over to you. >> developing news a wildfire continues to rage out of control near yosemite forcing the closure of the common route to the park from the bay area and katie debt is tracking the fire from our newsroom. >> this fire broke out on saturday and now four days later it is raging and zero percent contained. take a look at the flames and the smoke and here are the latest numbers, the rim fire has forced closure of highway 120 in both directions and shutting off the west side of the park, and campgrounds loan the highway have been evacuated but the park is still open. more than 10,000 acres have burned more than 15 square miles of inaccessible steep terrain
