day, 62 and drizzle around the bay and mostly cloudy. sunny and only warming to 66 by noon and average temperatures with low-to-mid 70's by 4:00, and 66, cool, at 7:00. inland we have clouds and 50, and sunny by noon and 74 and warm and humid like yesterday but 84 but pleasant in the evening at mid-to-upper 70's. at the cost we have clouds and mist and drizzle, and clouds will open up by noon and hang out in the low-to-mid 60's with partly sunny conditions this afternoon. now, the monday morning commute. leyla gulen? >> putting a crimp in the commute southbound 680 a stalled vehicle is blocking a middle lane and that is causing cars to go around and that is causing some delays, so you will look at more traffic as you come away from highway 4. now, causing a big of a punch in the commute is this crash northbound 101 at vermont street, and as you start to head into san francisco before you get to the central freeway we have a car versus a wall and it

is facing the wrong direction and blocking the slow lane. in san jose, northbound, before 880, the multiple vehicle crash is pushed to the shoulder and causing enough slowing at 19 miles per hour, coming arm from the 680 and 280 split it is clear before that point. >> thank you very much. at 6:02. streets in downtown san jose are re-opening now that an overnight police stand off is over. investigators say police got a call shortly after midnight from a man saying he was going to hurt himself. officers found him on 12th by using cell phone towers. the man was holding a knife to his chest. a crisis intervention officer talked to him for four hours before the man was taken into custody and he will be brought to a hospital for a 72-hour psychiatric hold. police say he did not threaten officers. >> developing news, a wildfire continues to rage near yosemite national park 144,000 acres

burning since the fire began last week. right now it is only 7 percent contained and the fire has destroyed at least two dozen buildings and now berkeley family camp has been destroyed. this is video from the camp showing the camp destroyed by the flames and the family camp existed for more than 90 years. fire crews say flames got in the top of of the camp making it possible to stop. here is the camp on friday before the fire southwest through. guests evacuated before the fire hit and investigators say flammable materials helped feed the fire including tents. >> the fire now has burned 144,000 acres larger than the city of chicago. this map gives a better idea of how large the rim fire is. the yellow area on the screen shows where the fire stood this

get ready for the debut. that closing starts late in the evening on wednesday august 28. it will last for up to five full days over the long labor day holiday. the bridge will re-open by tuesday, september 3rd, the day after labor day. preparations for the closing are underway. we are joined from the toll plaza with more on what is happening. matt? >> three toll lanes are closed over the past weekend so they could put in fast-track only lanes for the new bridge. you can see all the lanes are back only this morning and the work is done. all 9 bay bridge is closed to prepare for the opening of the new eastern span after labor day with no traffic allowed for four days going wednesday night at 8:00 and the closures starts with rolling traffic blocks by c.h.p. on the main roads leading to the bridge with on ramps in oakland and san francisco and police warn drivers to plan

news bay area. >> new details on a weekend homicide in the south bay released soviet showing a san jose man being killed. we will not show you that moment but 22-year-old ramon garcia was shot to death near downtown on saturday afternoon. surveillance video shows garcia getting off 9 bicycle and leaning back against a car and a man runs up to him and shoots him in the head. garcia was the father of five. family members say garcia and the suspect were arguing at a park. police are studying the felt hoping to identify 9 gunman. >> walnut creek are looking for two armed men who robbed a restaurant. officers say after 11:00 on saturday night, two men armed with handguns entered the back office of the tank restaurant and confronted an employee and demanded cash, the restaurant customers were not aware a robbery was occurring. the in endrove away in a silver-colored jeep.

san rafael and two vehicles and a big rig slow away from the macarthur maze. eric? >> to our developing news on the rim fire in video only seen on abc7 news this is berkeley's destroyed family camp, with flames sweeping through the camp as the fire, now the size of the city of chicago, continues to grow. abc7 news is monitoring the developments from the newsroom. >> we have a look at the popular summer camp that is ravaged, now burning 203 square miles and is only 7 percent contained, more than 2,500 firefighters from around the country are battling the blaze. the strong winds pushed the monster fire closer into the northwest edge of yosemite national park and the family camp owned by the city of berkeley is now a sad site. the forest service says the camp

suffered "extensive" damage. campers remain evacuated on tuesday. firefighters did their best to save it. this is one of the most ferocious fires they have ever battled. >> the fire is in the top of the trees and it is impossible to stop. the trees are 150' tall and it goes from the top of the trees and burns above the ground. >> this is what the family camp looked like before it burned operating by the city of berkeley since 1922. 4,500 structures are threatened and thousands evacuated and advisory has been issued for folks living near the area east of highway 108. highway 120 into yosemite national park is closed. another berkeley camp, the lair of the bear is not in the line of fire at pine crest despite rumors.

considered at risk, the police department issued a silver alert for the man who was last seen yesterday morning on brookside drive, police say he is an avid walker and walked from san leandro to the san mateo bridge. he is 5' 4" and weighs 150 pounds and it is believed he is wearing a black sweater and blue jeans. >> this morning, two motorcycle riders are recovering from injuries they suffered in a terrifying plunge off a road in los gatos, and look, you can see the motorcycle being pulled up along the bridge road near the reservoir happening last night. the highway patrol says the motorcycle tumbled 20' to 30' down and the riders suffered minor injuries. >> two children and to adults are in the hospital following a shooting in oakland, shell casings and other evidence covered the pavement near 104th avenue yesterday, police say someone opened fire into a
