are joined at the scene by kira klapper. >> it will be a difficult morning as classmates return to school. look at the crash seen: this is where the car shammed into a tree and through the fence in danville. the video shows the teens in a car going north and a passenger died at the hospital. the driver and the other passenger are in the hospital this morning. one is treated for broken ribs and the other a broken leg. police say this were no witnesses to the crash and they were out here investigating until 4:00 this morning and they still trying to determine the cause of the accident. >> too early to tell. no obvious signs of everything. that is what our investigators will make sure to pinpoint the speeds and other things. there is nothing obvious such as

cans of alcohol or anything like that. >> what police do know, again, is that all three boys are local high school students under the age of 18 and one of them is now deceased and the other two are said to be in stable condition this morning. we have reached out to the school system to find out what they will be doing on such a difficult day to help the other students cope with the tragedy. >> 6:03. now, the sierra wildfire, governor brown says the state is prepared to deploy additional resources to battle the raging fire burning in and near yosemite national park and the fire is 20 percent contained this morning, firefighters are optimistic about the new containment number there the wildfire has grown to 160,000 acres. 23 structures have been destroyed and 4,000 homes are threatened.

closure to get ready for the new debut starting at 8:00 p.m. and lasting for up to five full days over the labor day holiday and will re-open no later than 5:00 on tuesday morning. as the shutdown looms, drivers are racing to find alternative routes to get around and our reporter is on treasure island with more on that part the story. matt? >> the lights are on this morning on the new eastern span of the bay bridge, a sign of things to come as it is going to officially open up to traffic a week from today. when the original bay bridge opened back in 1936, the governor cut the chain with a blow torch. the ceremony for the new eastern span is on labor day on monday and the governor will not be this but anything is possible. the bridge closes on wednesday might and will not open until tuesday morning and drivers are making plans to avoid the area or expect a long commute.

condition. police say there were no witnesses to the crash. they are investigating for seven hours until 4:00 a.m. but they are still trying to figure the cause. they do not think drugs or alcohol were involved but they are not ruling out speeding. reporting in danville for abc7 news. >> at 6:33 developing news in oakland, where firefighters knocked down a two aheart fire at a house that broke out at a home at 50th avenue near international boulevard before 3:00 with films shooting through the roof of the two-story home. crews put it out in half an hour and no word on a cause. >> now the sierra wildfire official say the rim fire continued to grow in size but containment numbers up, too, and the fire burned 160,000 age acres and 20 percent contained. the films have destroyed two dozen structures. governor brown visited the
