but they say otherwise it is operating normally as we speak. >> san jose is working on a plan to put more cops back on streets but may take higher taxes to help pay for them. abc 7 news is live at san jose city hall. the plan is already coming under attack. david? >> well, interest tringly it's a city leaders who were cutting police pay and pension nouz about to do an about face they want to put more cops on the street but they need money and possibly higher taxes. >> it's not always apparent but san jose has been losing police officer at a rate of 100 per year for three years. many of them leaving to take higher paying jobs after san jose cut pay and benefits but now, the city council members are trying to reverse that with a proposal to fill vacancies restore wages within four skbreers add 141 new sworn officers. the plans projected to cost

beaches. i'll show you you can see here mostly clear skies across the region with exceptions. check out the sierra nevada we're seeing some thunderstorms right now. but as you can see, they're mostly in the central part and southern part of the sierra nevada down into southern california deserts seeing some of the moisture moving in. creating strong thunderstorms earlier nlt day. now, this, a lot of this is subtropical moisture we saw yesterday. we did have showers yesterday as you may recall. and lots of pictures of rainbows coming in posted to my facebook of a rainbow in fremont. we've seen a lot of these gorgeous photos on you report as well. thank you for sending those in. from our camera you can see clouds over tahoe.

crews spent the morning cleaning a small fire. a county fire spokesman says there were no injuries and damage limited to office furniture. the ranch has its own fire brigade but marin county also responded. the cause of the fire is under investigation but april dwreers to have started in a roof top vent later motor. >> apple's marketing campaign is now underway sending out invitations to an event a week from today. and for a short time today, a chinese web site had a photo of what are believed to be iphone 5 cs. boxed up and ready for shipping. it comes in pink, other pictures show pastel blue and pail yellow as well. pics have been removed from the web site. we should know a week from today when it will hit the market on fran supervisor
