long time. so it will be interesting to see. >> one lab hopes lab corps will be able to offer same services for lower prices. i team learned san francisco police department now turned over a report about a fatal accident to the district attorney. the 24-year-old was riding her bike on folsom street. the police report says she was at fault but after an advocate uncovered video police determined the truck driver who hit her was at fault. the chief said he was forwarding the case to prosecutors. it didn't happen last week, but today the district attorney confirmed to abc 7 news it has this case. >> a nearly two-month long hunger strike is over. the inmates ended their protest today after two

lawmakers agreed to hold hearings looking into a policy that allows prisons to keep gang leaders in isolation units for long periods. some for 20 years. supporters hail this end of a strike as a rally today in oakland. >> one, they created this movement. two, they have made concessions to them, also, i think because of the hearings that they called for that that gave them a sense this legislature, the people, you know have their back. >> more than 30,000 inmates began refusing meals when the strike began. by this week the number dwindled to 100 who had been on strike. >> in sacramento today lawmakers are looking at ways to change the state drug laws. the goal to, keep lesser offenders from clogging up korts and prisons.
