chemical laboratory is forcing evacuations. the fire broke out at 9:45 and is still burning right now an hour west of oklahoma city. firefighters have it contained to the building and are going to let it burn itself out. that could take several hours. officials say no employees were at the plant. the cause is not known. >> today is the final day, possibly, for the america's cup. we have a preview. matt? >> there are signs of team new zealand and team usa. you can see the team new zealand right here. at the bottom it says this is no second. that may not be true. if team new zealand wins one race they win the cup and team usa will be second. new zealand won yesterday, new zealand finished 15 seconds

chemical plant in oklahoma led to evacuations overnight and massive firefight. our reporter, katie marzullo, is monitoring the situation from the newsroom. >> it is moving in the right direction, the custer county emergency manager says the evacuation order has been lifted, and 12 people from four or five homes were forced to leave when the fire erupted and the laboratory is outside of the town of thomas in custer county an hour west of oklahoma city. firefighters have the fire contained and they are going to let it burn itself out but that could take hours. it is burning for ten hours and police say this were explosions a young man who lives near said it was awful. >> it is scary. i didn't enjoy what to do. i didn't know if we would have to leave town. my dad is not here we would not be able to do much. scary the no one was at laboratory and the remain

we have breaking business news, one of the largest bangs will pay a multimultimillion dollar penalty. we have the details. jane? >> yes, good morning. we are talking about j.p. morgan chase trying to put the trading troubles behind it. they will pay $920 million to settle claims that lax internal controls head the bank to provide inaccurate information about the record trading loss known as the london whale loss of $6 billion. the settlement does notary solve all of the liability of the bank. as. >> mortgage rates are higher fewer are refinancing so wells fargo is doing away with 1,800 more jobs. this is in addition to 3,000 job cuts at the san francisco-based bank. wells fargo said they could see 30 percent drop in home loan origination because of refinancing drop.
