the ocean view neighborhood this week. >> the victim was a 20-year-old justin valdez.÷ú he was from garden grove in southern california shot in the head at randolph and bright streets before 10:00 monday night in what investigators are calling a random killing. this is the man investigators believe did it. a 30-year-old from san francisco, is he in custody now charge wtd killing. police say the two did not know each other. officials are planning a tribute in his honor that will take place tonight. >> a teacher at santa clara high school arrested accused of having sex with a 17-year-old girl, a student at the school. >> police arrested thev: 32-year-old hugo cortez guzman. the principal says the school received a tip and contacted police who took guzman into custody. >> investigators think she's the only victim.çó the district immediately

checking healthy living news a british study linked antidepressant was type two diabetes. several studies have shown a link between antidepressants and diabetes but this is the first to connect drugs with type two diabetes. researchers say doctors need to be aware of the link before prescribing antidepressants. >> omega 3 fatty acids found in fish and nuts have been found to help the heart and cut down on the risk of stroke and have been touted as protection against demenia but a new report says that is not so. researchers monitored 2000 women for six years and found who took the fatty acids had no more real protection whit came to motor, visual or memory skills and researchers in uc san francisco say levels of flame retardant chemicals in the blood of female
