unions say if no agreement is reached by today they will strike tomorrow. bart's latest offer was $7 million more than the last offer on friday. they say it is the last, best, and final offer. general manager says it is $7 million more than it was on friday. state lawmakers were at the negotiations and voiced concerns about bart management putting down the final offer. >> bart management cut off negotiations today by putting forward a final offer at 4:00 p.m., we were disappointed. we felt it did a lost damage. >> we put out a good proposal. they have to decide good that meets their needs. >> the federal mediation service joins the talks. he was appointed by president obama and is an indication that washington is paying close attention to the talks.

bart spoke person says management will move on the issues but will talk to the unions of the side issues. management says the unions have two weeks to take this deal before it will be retracted. >> matt, thank you very much. >> the trains are rolling. leyla gulen? >> 18 trains are rolling with quiet conditions on the roads. lots of green is out there so we moving along at top speed. we have a couple of areas with construction. first is in san jose if you are traveling northbound and southbound along 880 between forest avenue and 280 you will find construction crews and this will last until 6:00 with slow-and-go traffic toward 101, as well, but other than that, you are accident free. i can tell you we have a construction project in fairfield affecting eastbound 80 between 680 and highway 12.

that of other bay area mayors. the san francisco chronicle reports that the mayor is currently on her way to china, her 34th trip and 5th overseas since taking office in john of 2011. she bills the city for 21 of the 33 previous trips at a cost of $34,000 and she was entitled to $4,000 in meals no 83 days on the road. but that is no match of her predecessor who racked up more than $630,000 in one year including thousands in limousine services and a $4,000 stay at the ritz in washington, dc. san francisco mayor lee who is supposed to go to china himself has billed the still over $15,000 for 11 of the 24 trips since being sworn in and san jose mayor has billed his city $24,000 for 19 of his trips.

and a cooling trend for the weekend. from sutro tower glistening lights and livermore at 79 where you should be for this time of the year and 72 in san francisco and san jose at 77, and 77 in redwood city, and two degrees warmer and live more is 81 and oakland at 75, three degrees warmer than what we should be for this time of the year, sunrise is 7:18 setting at 6:33. half moon bay is up to 68 degrees and we will be near 90 in santa cruz and morgan hill, and near 80 at concord and fairfield and 81 in antioch and livermore and today in richmond, 72 and san rafael at 77, and tonight the temperatures will fall back into the 40's in most inland neighborhoods and maybe 50 in antioch and a lot of upper 40's to low 50's around the bay. while you were sleeping, high pressure moves from over the identification to near the great bay with the offshore wind the next 72 hours.
