destination today, looks like that has frozen up but appears to be the scene outside of the ferry building. unfortunately that signal locked up. taking a look at the transbay terminal, people trying to get out of san francisco, it's difficult. you're talking about a bart system carrying 400,000 people per day. those who didn't stay home have an opportunity to stay home are out, trying to get out of the city this evening. it's going to be a long, slow commute. >> they've got books out. a mob scene there. but what a rough night it's going to be. >> yes. >> 30 hour bargaining session broke down in a disagreement over work rules. there was a skrimish at one bart station this morning. >> laura anthony joins us at lake merit station. >> reporter: pickets back up just as they were in july.

this morning there was tension and an arrest by bart police after a man apparently upset about the workers going on strike for threw a traffic cone am @ them. other than that, the strike has proceeded peacefully. this after negotiate yaigs between bart and unions broke down yesterday afternoon. unions claim they'd agreed to bart's lead, bart claims it's not true. and that yun yinz wanted economic gains. >> i think they're desperate because they walked away from a deem. they walk wade from a deal, their deal. they're trying to formulate accusations. it's almost comical. we're starting to believe we don't think they have skill, or ability to achieve an agreement. >> common sense will tell you our world needs to change to allow.

it's going to take 18-20 minutes to head way from the maze. if you're traveling in the eastbound direction as those people are, it's going to take 35 minutes to go between same points. let's go to san mateo bridge, you can see traffic is slow out there. they're making the drive there is about a 30-minute commute. taillights heading away from you is about a 14-20 minute drive. so busy out there. i can tell you northbound 101 heading out of san francisco is packed. >> take a look at this, this site not making bay area commuters happy at all today, sky 7 was overhead in richmond. you can see all of the trains stopped. >> and usually when you want

a counselor is accused of molesting children. officer as rested brian chrisel. while working as a court appointed child advocate. he works in watsonville. investigators believe there may be more victims who have not yet come forward. >> a moving truck after a collision involving 300 vehicles.

this happened in san francisco. three people were injured, one taken to the hospital. a traffic light was also knocked off and the accident. no word on whit will be repaired. >> the firefighter who hit and killed the survivor of the asiana airlines plane crash will not face charges. the medical examiner found she suffered injuries consistent with being run over. she was covered in foam on the tarmac, and today, the county district attorney says the firefighter did not violate any criminal laws. the da says the scene was chaotic and called firefighter efforts remarkable. he was traveling with a group of chinese students. two of her classmates were killed in that crash. >> google now joins exclusive 1,000 club, the new york stock exchange prepares for twitter. >> emily chang joins with us today's after the bell report. hi, emily.

a federal air marshal faces charges after witnesses say he was taking pictures of skirts of female passengers. officials say he was on duty in nashville when a witness spotted him taking picture was his cell phone. witness grabbed his zporngs then alerted a flight
