a city gardener accused of running over a woman in a park has been arrested for leaving the scene of a collision with a bicycle. >> prosecutors have yet to decide whether to pursue this case but the 19-year-old was booked on a hit and run charge. >> we are live with the story in the outer mission neighborhood. >> reporter: the accident happened right here at san jose avenue and regent street. outer mission district of san francisco. accord owing police jonathan bernowski hit the bicyclist as he was making a right turn. the 19-year-old did not stop. police say it happened yesterday afternoon, shortly after he left the courtroom where his father was being arraigned investigators say the 19-year-old hit a bicyclist the person was not badly

injured. he lives about a mile from where the accident occurred followed by a witness who then called police. he was arrestd and booked into the county jail. so far, this is a hit and run case. this afternoon, the district attorney's office was waiting to interview a witness to decide whether to file charges. in court his yesterday, his father pleaded not guilty to running over a woman with his truck at holly park in vernal heights neighborhood. his family and friends were there to show support. now, the da told me this afternoon that the 19-year-old has posted bail and is out on bail, and we reached out to the family. but they never returned our calls. live in the outer mission district of an fran, abc7 news. >> thank you very much. let's go back live to the picture from sky seven of breaking news we started with just moments ago.
