the relief effort we have a list of ways to help at abc7 news under "see it on tv." >> we have breaking news right now out of oakland, bart service is back to normal following a major delay, an hour ago bart evacuated a train at the west oakland bart station after a man with two guns got off the train leaving behind a silver brief case. the bomb sniffing dogs determined it was safe and the service was resumed. we do not have a description of the guns or the man. >> happening now in son california, los angeles police are going door to door interviewing neighbors after the father of state assembly man mike gotto was found shot to death in a possible home invasion. the body of the 78-year-old was found last night slumped over in a chair in his home in silver lake. his daughter made the discovery after she did not hear from her dad all day. police have not made any arrests.

a spokesman for the democratic lawmaker says that assemblyman gotto is devastated after the call about his father's death. >> supporters of a local teen set on fire on an a.c. transit bus are planning a march tonight. friends and family of 18 -year-old sasha fleischman start at oakland high school and place rainbow ribbons on the bus route. 16-year-old richard thomas lit sasha's skirt on fire. he has second- and third-degree leg buns. a donation page has been re-opened after raising $22,000 to help pay for medical expenses. >> two tesla employees are recovering in a burn center after an accident at the company's fremont plant. the c.e.o. elon musk visited the medical center last night to make sure the workers okay. a piece of equipment

a spokesman said that the security video on the ship shows the passenger intentionally going overboard. there is no word on her name but she is american and between 30 and 54. >> developing news, a lane of interstate 80 is still blocked as crowes worked to upright a big rig that rolled down an embankment at 3:45 telling the c.h.p. he was cut off by another vehicle. crews have been working to hours to empty 25,000 pounds of frozen food that was headed for trade we joe's stores. people are now off loading fuel and though have it done in the next 30 minutes. the highway patrol says the truck driver smashed into an abandoned vehicle as the truck started to overturn. amazingly the driver is okay. >> today, unions investigating how a train left the station without a driver and started

rolling out the station. the rider put on the emergency brakes to stop the train. muni is looking into weather the driver forgot the emergency brake or whether it could have been mechanical failure. caltran is conducting more finishing touches today on the new caldecott tunnel ahead of the the opening. crews will test the safety systems and conduct a drill. they are warning drivers to expect delays in the existing bores. caltran says drives could see delays of up to 30 minutes starting late tomorrow night so crews can start restriping. the 4th bore opening could happen this weekend or early monday morning. >> that is good news. crab lovers, almost time for the first fresh crab of the season with hauls coming in aserly as tomorrow. owe reporter joins us from fisherman's wharf. no fighting over the price this year, amy? >> no, they have agreed on a rice and they are already hard at work. look at this boat about do go

out with the second load of pots. they have put a load of pots out there and they are back for more. restaurants tell us that customers are already calling, locking for crab. >> the pots are going out which means yummy goodness will soon be coming in. they are allowed to pull the crops at midnight so if the weather cooperates we should be unloading crab off the boats. >> we are usually talking about an argument over the price of crab and a potential strike. this year much agreed on $3 a pound. >> we went in one day, we selled, and new we good to go. we are going on time. it is nice to go on time. everyone will have their crab for thanksgiving. >> the chef across the way is were watching all of this very carefully. we asked his reaction to the fact that the boats are going out on time this year. >> stunned.

>> we have breaking news from wisconsin, a shooting at children's hospital near milwaukee with local media reporting that the police have just shot and wounded the gunman who now is in custody. we are learning the shooting happened in the neonato unit. the hospital was on lockdown and no one else reported to be injured. we will follow the breaking news story on twitter. >> two women are behind bars this morning accused of stealing the identities of dozens of people, including breast cancer paints. police arrested the two women

november 5 in santa clear. they checked and a motel near great america using a fake credit card. officers sent to investigate found stolen mail and personal information great at least 100 people at their hotel room. it was determined the information was for patients of the breast cancer center in oakland. they tracked down 15 of the patients and most had said they had already been victims of identity theft. >> janet yellen, president obama's nominee to lead the federal reserve sailed through a senate confirmation hearings testifying in washington, dc, this morning, saying the economy has regained ground last to the recession. she said the economy still needs the federal reserve support because unemployment remains too high at 7.3 percent. she taught economics at uc berkeley and was head of the fed bank here in san francisco. >> this morning, the vatican is dismissing reports that pope francis is targeted bit mafia.

covering santa rosa, berkeley, san jose and all bay area, this is abc7 news. >> look at this video from australia, the truck's containers started rising, boom, while the driver approached a tunnel. you can seat result. the raised container crashes into the top of the tunnel during the morning rush and ruined the commute on the busiest roads in sydney. the driver said he accidentally knocked the controls as hollande down to pick up his glasses. he is okay but he is in a little of trouble. his company is going do have to pay if the damage. hope they have good insurance.

overturn the atmosphere so at our lowest we are four degrees cooler than 24 hours ago but in santa rosa, 16, napa ten, novato anyone, and even san jose at 11 degrees cooler than just 24 hours ago and that temperature in san jose is 55 degrees right now and the same in oakland and fremont and novato at 52 in santa rosa and napa but check out concord, forward, antioch, san ramon, the areas have seen the sun first are in the low-to-mid 50's our best bet for 70 degree weather. from the east bay hill to mount diabolo you can see the hazy sunshine the rest of us get this afternoon along with the high clouds. cooling trend starts now and deepens through saturday and the rain stays north saturday but there is the chance next week. this is how it looks in san jose, rapidly improving conditions as far as sunshine and half an hour ago. concord is three degrees cooler than yesterday and everyone else

is 8 to 12 degrees cooler, santa rosa is 80 yesterday and only 68 today. mum 60's for most of the south bay and up to 70 in gilroy, we low 60's at the coast and for the crab boats, the winds will kick up tonight and tomorrow and make hard for them to fish tomorrow and saturday with the winds, and low-to-mid 60's downtown and south san francisco and sausalito and we could possibly touch the 70's, low-to-mid 70's for the east bay valley. tonight we will be cooler and most of us are in the mid-40's to 50 and the cold front comes through with the brings pick up overnight through tomorrow and that will keep the cooling trend going in the seven-day forecast and the cool of the day is with the secondary push of cooler air saturday but it looks like the closest the rain gets to us is lake and mendocino county. until then, and temperatures
