from our camera, toward the embarcadero and the bay bridge you can see how clear it is. we do have temperatures we are waking up to in the 50's and the 40's. sfo shows no flight delays so you are in good shape. scattered clouds over sfo and dry today and over the weekend and cooler next week with the policy light rain between tuesday and thursday with the seven-day forecast coming up in a little bit. if you are headed to the roads traveling to be with family, friends, happy thanksgiving. we have lots of green so we are at top speeds across the bay area. we have no traffic and you want to be came not to drive too fast because it is easy to do and that is when accidents happen. you and see westbound from albany to the maze it is four minutes and 880 southbound from fremont to san jose is 13

minutes and 280 northbound from 101 through san jose to cupertino is ten minutes. c.h.p. is ramping up patrols along i-5 that will last through the weekend to prevent fatalities. >> breaking news in the south bay where police are investigating an early morning shooting and we are near the scene. what is the latest? >> the scene is oak and state and it happened halfway down the street around 4:00 this morning. we can show you video of the crime scene when police were here they just re-opened this a few minutes ago. a sergeant says a man and a woman were sitting on a porch here and a man described only as an adult male, hispanic male, walked up, yelled something, and opened fire with a handgun. police say he fired at least six shots and hit the man who is 18, four times and he went to the

hospital with non-life threatening injuries. the woman on the parch is 21 years old and hurt, but not shot but a bullet fragment hit her in the foot so she is being treated. also, witnesses say a car drove by right about the same time as the shooting and police can fought confirm whether the car was involved and whether the shooter came from that car. the shooter got away on foot and police are still looking for him. there is no indication of what the motive could have been. >> developing news, highway 92 in san mateo county is open again at skyline boulevard at the rescue of victims from a car that flew over a cliff. a block sedan flew off the highway and landed 600' below and the sheriff's rescue team was call merchandise and several victims were airlifted by a helicopter with serious injuries

mild is dry is the story. hopefully the turkey will not be dry. a look from mount tamalpais you can see how clear the air is. we have high clouds we are waking up to and chilly conditions in the north bay and napa is at 37 degrees. the rest of the bay area inland, concord is 42 and 45 in los gatos. our conditions in san francisco are 52 degrees and along the peninsula into san jose, 47 degrees will be the current temperature. we have clouds that will burn off later at partly cloudy to mostly cloudy so for thanksgiving we have a lot of sun and that is when we will experience the cloudy conditions overnight. our turkey trot in san francisco is 52 degrees to get us going and by 10:00 a.m. from at&t park toward city hall, 57 degrees is

clouds today. we thought rain was in the forecast. the upper low is moving to the south of us. the push into southern california leaves a dry weekend for us. we will have another upper-level low from british columbia bringing us the big mass of cool air and a chance of late rain tuesday through thursday. our highs today around the bay area are topping out in the upper to mid-60's for the most part and under partly and mostly cloudy skies and our lows tonight will be chilly at 43 degrees in concord. 46 along peninsula in palo alto. san mateo is 46 degrees. 37 in napa and 38 in santa rosa. and 44 in morgan hill. livermore is 44 tonight. the seven-day forecast shows dry today but not the turkey. we hope for a moist turkey.

>> two suffers major injuries when a car slammed interest a light pole and caught on fire after a high speed chase. officers tried to pull a car over for running a top sign and a high chase followed with speeds up to 100 miles per hour. it ended weapon the car hit a light pole and stopped against a house. the driver and passenger were pulled by police jut -- just before the car caught fire. a driver was arrested on suspicion of d.u.i. after the car crashed into martin luther king jr. middle school after 10:00 last night. you can see the car punched a hole into the wall of the school and partly wrecked the bathroom. >> san jose's urban search and recuse team removed a body from inside a highway overpass before 1:00 o'clock a.m. when a man walked interest a san jose firehouse and alerted firefighters of the deceased.

>> we follow breaking news in the south bay where police are investigating an early morning shooting that last two wounded. katie marzullo is near the scene. what is the latest? >> i talked with a neighbor would said he lived in the neighborhood 35 years and says over that time it has changed a lot and not for the better. he says there is a lot of gang activity here. police are not revealing a hint of the motive in the shooting. it happened down the street on fate street near oakland street at 4:00 a.m. a sergeant says a man and a woman were sit on the front porch and a man described only as "an adult hispanic male," walked up, yelled something, and opened fire with a handgun. the sergeant says he fired half a dozen shots and hit the man, 18 years old, four times but that man is going to survive. the injuries are not life threatening. the woman is 21 and was hit in the foot where bullet fragment.

we have high clouds and that will burn off by this afternoon and be replaced with more clouds later on and a hazy look toward sfo but you can see the planes taking off with for flight arrival or departure delays at sfo but we have word of a delay at la guardia airport of 30 minutes. we do have storms on the east coast but not here. we have great weather here. that is because we have an upper low we thought would bring us rain but it is moving to the southeast and that could bring 20 percent chance of rain to southern california leaving us with a dry holiday welcome. it is going to change by next week because another upper low will come in from the canadian coast and that is bringing a massive cool air and moister conditions, as wealth, with the possibility of showers on tuesday into thursday. our highs today for the holiday
