>> thank you, spencer. >> a 13-year-old girl remains on life support at childrens hospital, oakland tonight. jahi mcmath suffered complications after having her tonsiled removed her family is holding a vigil tonight. nick smith joins us live from the hospital. >> we watched the family going in earlier, they did not have much to share but did tell me they'd speak with me later today. jahi mcmath pronounced brain dead thursday, six days later the family is holding a prayer vigil asking for prayers from the community and asking for a miracle. jahi mcmath's lawyer filed a request seeking to block the hospital from further action. the same day, employees plan to take her off life support. the hospital granted the request but the decision is only temporary. and intended to give more time to cope. the doctor, associate
