investigators say a 35-year-old father tossed his toddler off the roof of a 52 story high-rise apartment building yesterday in man hat's upper west side. father then jumped off the building himself. both of them were killed. the dad was involved in a bitter custody dispute with the ex stranged wife. >> former nba star rodman is in china following a trip to north korea that did not include a meeting with not korean leader kim jong-un and was mobbed by reporters in beijing. he told them he is not disappointed he did not meet with the leader in pyongyang. they have struck an unlikely friend since traveling to the country for a tv special. this time, rodman was trading basketball players for a game that he hopes include former american pro's. >> fire nears in massachusetts took quick action to save a dog. this happened yesterday: police received a 9-1-1 call from a woman who said her dog fell

minutes. right now breaking news in san francisco, police are investigating a shooting outside a night club that left a man in critical condition and it happened on how war street near 1st before 2:00 this morning, according to the witnesses the temple nightclub was packed when people shots rang out and a search is underway. the victim was hit in the stomach and is not cooperating with investigators. >> in vallejo police looking for clues after a man was shot to death outside an apartment building around 8 4:00 last night near interstate 80. the victim is identified at 34 -year-old wayne germane. no word on arrests. >> in the east bay it is decision day for the family fighting to keep their brain dead 13-year-old girl alive. an independent doctor could be appointed today to help determine her fate. our reporter is in oakland children's hospital with that story. >> we were in court on friday
