found on the san jose freeway on ram. the person was found on southbound interstate 680 on ramp last night. the name is being held pending notification of next-of-kin. ramp reopened just before 2:30 this morning. and on the peninsula investigators are looking into the palo alto house fire. two people were found inside. the medical examiner is expected to join the investigation. firefighters discovered the bodies inside the home as they were putting out a one alarm fire last night. abc news reporter ama daetz as the story. >> palo alto fire got home to find the home on embarcadero road fully engulfed. two bodies were found inside. the deaths will be handled by the police, fire and santa clara county task force. >> anytime there's a fatality at the fire scene le we will put up

a crime scene until we are able to determine what happened, if the fire is criminal in knit you are or not. it happens at every fire when we discover a body. >> a door anybody said a man and caretaker lived in that home. >> johnny was a vietnam war vet. he's been pretty sick. i haven't seen him for a while. >> firefighters had trouble putting out the fire because there were a lot of items inside the home-like newspapers and boxes. >> we had a heard time kind of getting in and where we needed to go. the home was apparently in fairly poor condition before the fire began society fire just enhance this had and mid-it worse. >> the investigation will really get underway when they were day light to help them. mama dates, abc7 news. >> in walnut creek officials are investigating the cause of a fatal house fire. the fire officials said flames were spotted coming from the home around 9:45 lift night. firefighters arrived to find the

second floor burning and tried to rescue the victim trapped on the second floor but the fire was into intense. the name was not been released. san jose said an arsonist may be at work inside their city. seven suspicious fires have broken out the past few days within about a two mile radius. sky 7hd was over the neighborhood of 24th and east san antonio streets yesterday morning after three fires broke out in a span of just an hour. one area homeowner said she's concerned about the possible arsonist targeting the neighborhood. >> i didn't realize it was going on around the whole neighborhood and i am very worried about my renters. >> residents are being urged to be vigilant. the wreckage of a plane carrying five people, including a silicon valley tech executive, has been found in idaho six weeks after it disappeared from raid door. there were no survivors.

51-year-olddale smith was piloting the plane when it was last seen on december 1st. the family was heading from oregon to montana when smith reported engine trouble about 150 miles northeast of boise. the search was suspended in mid-november but family and friends continued with a private search n a facebook post his wife, janice, thanks searchers and said the plane was found just before the search had to wrap up for the foreseeable future. a storm is moving into the area so the plane will not be recovered until the weather clears. there are now 11 deaths from the flu. keyser and permanente both report being short on shots but only temporarily. >> at the direct urgent care clinic in berkeley they are down to their lift vial. >> there's some left but it's low. >> people are looking to get flu shots.

where you can type in your city or zip code and they will show you all the places to get a shot including prices and hours. there's a link on our website. one person injured and two in custody after a drive-by shooting in concord. this is video of the suspects being detipped yesterday afternoon after a shooting on grant street and knoll drive. witnesses say a hon did you pulled up just after 4:00 and fired two shots. the victim has only minor injuries. another scary incident where a man was shot outside of wendy's restaurant. it was after 6:00 last night on monument boulevard. the victim was shot after a con fronttation with several men inside the restaurant. the victim was taken 209 medical center with serious injuries and the police are still look fourth shooters. >> homes were ehaving witted and streets shutdown after police found two homemade devices during a probation search.

good swells, as well. late today into tomorrow from the north bay, all the which down to the central coast, higher-than-normal surf with strong rip currents and possibility of sneaker waves. certainly dangerous conditions out there. high pressure giving way to a weak cold front. it will give us a slight chance of showers as it pushes through. we will see the clouds and cooler temperatures accompanied with it. here's the timing on it. at about 9:00, 10:00, it pushes through the north by and by noontime maybe a few showers over into berkeley and other than that we aren't looking at much in the south bay. but in the sierra nevada high snow levels anywhere from an inch to four inches of snow. anywhere from six to seven thousand feet and very gusty winds with winds exceeding 55 miles an hour. helping in the snow department but with the high temperatures throughout the day in the 40s, it's going to be hard to keep the snow pick. but we are trying every night making the snow. 59 today in oakland.
