as we take a look at westbound highway 24 coming from the tunnel, we have an accident blocking one lane with heavy traffic from orinda but the traffic is here to stay. southbound 880 at the parkway an accident leaving a lane blocked. had san jose this is clearing but, still, slow, northbound 87, a lane is blocked because of a two-car crash and walnut creek, 680, southbound, packed at ten to 12 minutes to the 24 junction. >> in oakland all lanes of eastbound 580 are re-opened after a man was hit and killed on the freeway this morning. c.h.p. says a man if his 30's staggered on to 580 at 1:00 o'clock this morning and two minutes later he was hit by a car and died. the driver is cooperating with investigators and the c.h.p. is looking into whether the man was under the influence of drugs or alcohol when he staggered on to

the freeway. developing news in the south way, milpitas police looking for the shooter would opened fire killing a man at a hotel and leaving gets under lockdown. our reporter is in milpitas with new information he learned in the past few minutes. matt? >> >> we received an update on this investigation and found out that a party was taking place on the 3rd floor of this executive inn last night and an argument ended up taking place in the paing lot and a man was killed. paramedics arrived at 10:30 and they found the victim in his early to mid-20's. police are trying to figure out if he was attending the party. there were several suspects seen leaving the parking lot after the shooting. no arrests is been made. homicides are rail in milpitas, this is the first of 2014 and only one in all last year. >> we are in the preliminary stages and good at solving our homicides as you know.
