alum, about the rant. >> the beautiful holiday weather turned tragic for a man in the north bay fishing from the shore at point reyes in marin county. wayne freedman is there with the story for us. >> reporter: this just wrapped up. the body was here at beach behind a ranger truck just 15 minutes ago that coroner arrived and pulled the body away the background of what happened today, around noon, the fisherman was on the surf just fishing. apparently he's fished here before and knows the conditions for reasons we don't understand, after a wave washed his cooler into the ocean, he went in after it, knocked down by the wave and knocked out badly, and dragged out to sea. he then drowned. from that point, a helicopter

here from north beach. it's been sad all day. reporting live from warren county, wayne freedman abc7 news. sky 7 shows us where crews fixed a sewage issue this afternoon. a blocked pipe caused 200 gallons of untreated sewage to back up into old mill treat. workers tried to pump it from the creek. officials taking water samples to see if it's been contaminated. >> sky 7 hd shows this shot of smoke pouring from a building at 17th and valencia streets. nobody was hurt. bicycle and pedestrian advocates planning a rally at noon tomorrow in the wake of several recent deaths. 21

hoo good evening. want to get to our top story. a beautiful day of fishing ends in tragedy in the north bay. at point reyes in marin county. wayne freedman is live with the story. wayne? >> this is a place people have been swept in before this, case was tragic, happening at noon today. a fisherman on the beach with his pole and a cooler. the wave came n he went after the cooler. that was the beginning of the end for him. he was swept out to sea. and people couldn't get to him about 45 minutes here are the details of how the body was recovered.
