school. cornell, what are we learning? >> sunnyvale police say this man is well then to the police officials saying that theodore lorigo made it beyond the front office. when theodore lorigo entered south peninsula hebrew day school the staff said he did what he could to fit in has been convicted of kidnapping a child with the intent to commit lewd acts. the school staff learned of his status after other members of the community saw him pleasuring at churches and sin galvestons and three was arrested after setting foot on school property. >> it is a violation of the sex registration laws that he is responsible for. he was placeed under arrest. >> there are cameras and a gate to secure campus.

president obama's speech to if issue for gun control. an ad airs before and after the address telling washington leaders it is too dangerous to wait, start working on the gun violence measures and is still suffering from a brain injury when she was shot while speaking with constituents. abc7 news will broadcast president obama's "state of the union" address and the republican response tonight at 6:00 p.m. the public is invited to a viewing for the bart police officer shot and killed last week. sergeant tom smith died after being shot by fellow officer michael maes, part of a team searching for evidence in a robbery suspect's home. the bart police are changing policy on home searches in the wake of the tragedy and are required to get written approval from the deputy chief before serving warrants or certaining homes and have to go through expanded training. the funeral is wednesday.

tonight, the best chance of organized wet weather is to the north with drizzle possible and a stray shower cross the north bay and fog and drizzle for the rest of us and moist and mild with mid-40's to low 50's. the tricky part with warm air is where it will be strongest and where the rain will set up. through the morning you can see drizzle is possible in the north bay and the storm or the chunk of energy will fade and so does our chance of wet weather. overnight, you can see up north, again, the warm air is streaming in and naturally lifted by the mountains and creates the best chance of organized weather. the rest of us have fog and drizzle. best chance of organized rain is in the north bay during the morning hours tomorrow and through the afternoon. then the front comes in the north bay in the evening through midnight and midnight to 4:00

night at east bay school. richmond miss say it is not clear what happened but they have detectives looking into the claims. oakland police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened at 9:00 last night in a parking lot near walgreens at high and porter street. the victim was rubbed to a hospital and he died. police say there have been no arrests and they have no details on a suspect or possible motive. >> san francisco public utility commission is expected to call for a 10 percent volunteer reduction in water use. the reduction starts on friday will impact 2.5 million customers in san francisco. the public utilities commission is giving out free appliance to save water. officials say saving water should be easier for residents. >> turning off the faucet can save two gallons a minute. shorter showers, for each minute you save you save 2.5 gallons.
