abc7 news begins with breaking news. the breaking news is in santa clara. firefighters are mopping up a home at a fire that injured one. >> it could have been worse if an alert neighbor had not jumped in to help the. >> lots of smoke, still, but, sadly, the house is gutted in santa clara. you can see a ladder truck is dousing hotspots in the fire with water. one person living here was hurt and when the firefighters arrived the garage and second second-floor was fully engulfed. it took 40 minutes to get the fire under criminal but quick thinking neighbors were throwing rocks at the house
