9:00 a.m. with the family asleep. witnesses told me that two men kicked in the door, one of the armed men pointed his gun at kids while the other ransacked the apartment looking for money, cash, jewelry, and electronic equipment. less than an hour later police were able to locate and identify two men. items from the robbery were found their possession, and positive witness i.d. was given so police took both men into custody. this home invasion is the latest to hit oakland in a week. two miles away an 80-year-old woman was shot and robbed. police have not made an arrest or found or identified a suspect in that crime, and that gunman remains at large. there is conversation today, however, with community residents in the diamond district to hire private security to come into the area. that conversation right now is on hold. some are trying to move that forward. others have not decided what they want to die. tomorrow afternoon, you're going to be seeing some rain coming in over the north bay. that's all going to drop down to san francisco. right about the afternoon hours, and then it's going to push farther south. so as we continue to take a look at the ten-day outlook we're going to possibly see more rain by next week. our highs today, beautiful day today. we have 35 degrees in tahoe. so it's chilly over there. 58 in chico. 42, yosemite. 67, los angeles, mostly sunny skies, and as we talk about super bowl, how are things going to be in east rutherford, new jersey, it's going to be really chilly and areas of snow in the norway -- more than -- northern part of the country, it's going to be dry and 44 at the start of the game, 39 at the end. at home we have areas of green. that's indicating some rain.
