in the first place? >> it depends on what he has. remember the letter from the lawyer, evidence exists that he wasn't telling the whole truth. doesn't necessarily say he has the evidence. it's all going to come down to what his testimony is to all these investigations and whether he can prove that christie wasn't telling the truth. >> he was seen as a front-runner for 2016. yesterday we had matt dowd on the show, and he said him being president is the same as amanda knox going on vacation in italy. >> there's no chance he's going to vacation in italy. chris christie, it's going to depend on the next year. he's going to be tied up in the investigations. if he's not telling the truth, he's done. but gets through the investigations, rebut the allegations, he can get back into this. the republican field is a

daley is in intensive care after becoming sick during a business trip. he claimed of feeling disoriented friday after a conference. he was chicago's mayor for a record 22 years. he walked off the plane and taken to the northwestern memorial hospital. they have said that the 71-year-old is undergoing tests. and indonesia, a huge volcanic eruption in that country. a day after they allowed thousands of evacuate ed villags to return. and ek ka door, there are reports of ash columns up to 32,000 feet, but no word of injuries in that country. and michigan, police are looking for a man who opened fire in an off-campus apartment

complex. 20-year-old student was killed, the other student shot was treated and released. police say that incident appears to be a targeted attack. and a california homeowner with pesky prowlers, taking matters into her own hands, after noticing intruders on her property. karly meyer had a low-tech anti-prowler device. that's a large rock on the end of a stick. her home surveillance camera caught this man in her backyard in the chair and sprawling, she fought him off with the homemade weapon and managed to keep him inside of the car until police could get there. >> that looks like something out of "grame of throwns". >> don't mess with her. >> david stern retired after

eye. michelle has more. >> reporter: an explosive open letter written by dylan farrow is re-opening old wounds and allegations of abuse. in her own words, published on the new york times website, she details claims she was sexually abused by allen when she was 7 years old. she spoke out last november in an interview with vanity fair. >> she is truly terrified of woody allen to this day. she can't look at one of his pictures in a magazine. >> reporter: claims he has strongly denied. >> certainly i never, ever abused my daughter. there was no sexual abuse that ever took place. >> reporter: the accusations were investigated by police and family courts, but allen was never charged with a crime. >> a six-month exhaustive investigation, there was no evidence from their view to support that the 7-year-old has

been sexually abused. >> reporter: dylan, now 28, felt she should speak up for herself after watching hollywood honor allen with a lifetime achievement award. writing, it felt like a personal rebuke, the awards and accolades were to shut me up and go away. her brother tweeted during the golden globes, missed the woody allen tribute, did they put the part where a woman publicly confirmed he abused her? is this a seriously a speech about how great woody allen is? pass. and dylan doesn't stop there, taking issues with celebrities who are friends and worked with allen, including diane keaton and several of the actors in blue jasmine.
