accused mother and they say they cannot believe this happy, smiling little girl is gone. they cannot believe that little girl's mother is accused in the death. >> this is the picture i took of her the day i first met her. >> suesanna could not sleep last kayleigh -- kayleigh slush we. >> it is heartbreaking. savannah and her twin sister are stepsister's of kayleigh slusher's mom, sara krueger who is in jail with her boyfriend accused of killing her. >> they cannot believe they would do this. >> it was so hard for her to get her to put kayleigh slusher in time out.

it was not sara krueger. >> they found her body while doing a check on the apartment from welfare on saturday. the couple was found on sunday at the senator senator -- at the el cerrito del norte station after an anonymous tip. >> we appreciate whoever called because without them, who knows how far they could have got were. >> friends and family held a vigil last night for the girl. her distraught grandfather is struggling with her death and the fact that his daughter is the accused murderer. >> you cannot imagine what i am going through. i...the proudest most of my life is gone forever and there ain't nothing we can do or say. >> the community support is comforting. >> i may have not known her by my heart goes out to her. may she rest in peace.

god be with her. he is. he is. she is an angel now. >> i got after the phone with the police lieutenant who is on the case tell me that the suspects are drug users, methamphetamine and marijuana. she cannot say whether they were using at the time of the murder. police say they have been here to the apartment before on january 27. a neighbor called because they heard fighting. the police say the couple claimed it was a verbal argument and everyone was okay. the autopsy is underway but police have told us they found evidence of blunt force trauma and possible sexual abuse. thank you, san francisco police are investigating whether two early morning stabbings are connected. police say a woman is in stable condition after being stabbed in the leg between piers five and seven at 4:00 this morning. at the same time, a man was stab add few blocked away near sacramento and drum streets with

janet yellen is the new head of the federal reserve sworn in with her husband by her side at a private ceremony. the 67-year-old took the top spot last week so this was just ceremonial. she is former president of the san francisco federal reserve bank. she succeeds bernanke and is the first woman ever to lead the federal reserve. she is expected to continue the fed policy of maintaining low interest rates and scaling back the newest programs. >> the obama administration announced this morning it wants to make it mandatory for new cars to use technology enabling them to community with each other. that is a step the transportation official say could significantly reduce crashes. the department of trap estimates that the technology could prevent four out of five crashes not involving impaired drivers. in addition to talking to each other the technology would allow cars to communicate with

jose, more fit and nine in sfo and oakland and 12 in san francisco. live doppler 7 hd shows clouds that are going to pass in this northwest flow that is bringing us the below average temperatures. we are still in the 40's in many areas to low 50's right now, antioch is the exception at 54. from mount tamalpais you can see how fast the winds are blowing out with the clouds moving across, and clouds and cooler-than-average, showers are possible on wednesday and thursday and the chance of rain in the north on saturday and for all of us on sunday. today, a beautiful picture with stunning colors and elevations as we look at the golden gate bridge at four to seven degrees cooler-than-average. the reason is because we have the flow coming from the northwest and it will keep us briefly dry today and tomorrow. here is a look at temperatures, low-to-mid 50's loan the coast and mid-50 for the rest of us and tonight we will have frost
