>> police arrested a man they say tried to kidnap a little 7-year-old girl. gabrielle weatherersby says he went up to a mother and her 7-year-old daughter last night. police say weathersby picked up the girl and carried her away. the mother started screaming. a security guard went after him. >> just parents worst nightmare for something like this to happen. in this case we're lucky there was a great response. the dispatcher has information out quickly. officers responded quickly. a security guard was there to poll the suspect and make sure he was taken into custody. >> it worked this time. police say he told them he had planned to sexual assault that little girl.

authorities investigating a single car crash that killed a woman today in oakland hills, police say the car rolled over traveling down redwood road. you can see it was a terrible accident there just before 9:00 this morning forecasts trying to rescue the driver but sadly she was pronounced dead at the
