200,000 people have signed a petition asking the prosecution to drop the charges. she is now entering a justice program if she completes it the charges will be dropped. >> san francisco police are investigating to more traffic accidents involving pedestrians. the most serious happened at 10 and california street yesterday afternoon where a 67-year-old woman was hit just before 3:30 suffering life-threatening injuries. the driver is cooperating with investigators. earlier a woman was hit by a taxi while jay walking. >> mail is receiving a lot of attention because of how it was addressed replace san francisco's freelance writer mctie's middle name with an offensive phrase an office for a bank of america credit card for an international honor society with companies apologizing to her saying they are investigating how they got there. katie marzullo will have more on

we have hit and mit light rain and mild outside at upper 40's to low 50's. exercise caution to get around because it is left over wetness from yesterday. our best chance of rain is in the north bay at mid-50's and spreading across the neighborhoods during the evening rush. from 4:00 to 7:00 it will be wet and temperatures are mild at low-to-mid 50's but if you head out checking back and enjoying time with friends you need to find a way to stay drive. you will not be eating outdoors tonight. for saturday, flooding rain, the day of the heaviest rain in the morning and it will continue through sunday and early chance on monday with the temperatures warming with the next system. the warmer the air the more moisture so we will have heavy rain this weekend. leyla gulen? >> we have sprinkles driving in and i don't think it is having an impact on our commute because we don't have any accidents to report which is great news.

connection. at 7:00 this morning you can see a scattered shower as we head to noon and it changes quickly and we start to see the first sign of the storm lining up along the coast and moving across our neighborhood as we head through the afternoon. in the evening everyone is getting rain. notice, it will be moderate in the evening and overnight. north bay will be hammered, just constant waves of moderate-to-heavy rain. from the bay bridge south, we will have more light-to-moderate rain. saturday it is tapering after flooding and you can see moderate rain in the north bay saturday afternoon through sunday morninged. that is the case all day sunday. check out the rainfall amounts. purple up here. up to 8" in the north bay mountains. up to 4" in the valley and up to 3" in the let of the bay area but the south bay will get up to
