fremont deploying what it says is the ultimate mobile crisis command center one used by plows, fire and 911 in emergencies. most of it paid for by homeland security. tonight abc7 news takes a look. from outside it bears a resemblance to a fire rig except for the neutral gray color but comparison ends when you step inside there are three rooms outfitted with 27 flat-screen monitors. and radios and a massive plotter for printing maps all connected by seven miles of cable, ideal for commanding a fire or s.w.a.t. incident but it can be turned into a mobile 911 center. >> it needed to be module and configureable. based on the mission and department. and task at hand. >> homeland security picked up the cost. with that,
