mario mario mario cuestas' arrest last night. this mug shot was released. katie marzullo joins from san jose. i talked with the spokeswoman for the department of justice. she says investigators are going through the evidence and it could lead to additional charges what mario cuestas surfaced is possession and sale of narcotics sex acts with minors and child me lastation. the department of justice is heading up the task force investigating the 53-year-old firefighter has not determined how many potential victim could exist. >> if there are other victims out there, people that have information, please give us a call. >> investigators are examineing evidence collected from his home and office. we captured this video of the raid in progress at the fire

department's administration building. >> computers and other items were received. we will see if we find anything else. >> it is believed he contacted some victims online. he has been investigated for months after being tipped off. mario cuestas is accused of selling meth to teens, sex with minors and child molestation. he worked out of fire station one until six months ago when he was forced into the role of community outreach officer because of injury which entails working with churches and schools were the president of the union says they are devastated. >> we share the same range of emotions, first of all, the charges indicate this may have been a victim or victims which is horrifying for firefighters. we are angry. we are disappointed. we are shocked. >> the department does not conduct random drug testing on

firefighters. they will only do the tests if they have reason to believe a firefighter is using drugs or if someone tips them off. a benicia first grade teacher accused of serving food laced with marijuana to her colleagues at a potluck party was in court. the 47-year-old was arrested last month and charged with three felony counts of poisoning. she works at matthew turner elementary school brought the dish to a dinner at a private home and several guests reported feeling sick and two went to the hospital. a 15-year-old also reported symptoms after eating some of the food the next day. she is placed on leave. >> former oakland police chief says the city's new court appointed police leader is terrible for oakland according to our media partner the tribune which spoke to jordan. he says robert warshaw is to

distrusted that several warn this will harm public safety and lead to more officers looking for new jobs. a federal judge ended his criminal and combined two jobs saying robert warshaw did not walk to reporters or return for comment. >> uc berkeley is stocking up open measles vaccine when a student tested positive for the virus and may have exposed thousands of bart riders. the student was on bart between berkeley and el cerrito del norte teen february 4-7, tuesday through friday. he thought he had a cold but it is shown he has the measles. he was not vaccinated and infected while traveling in asia. tonight drivers had to fix flat tires and other problems after hitting metal and fiber glass debris. cars rolled to the shoulder

farmers and residents affected by the record california drought. it is the first visit to the central valley. he is expected to get there around 2:30 this afternoon. during the visit, the president plans to announce significant new efforts to provide support and relief to those affected by the drought including $100 million in assistance for livestock loss, conservation and emergency water assistance. lady gaga is the drought spokeswoman and will be on the air with a public service announcement urging up to conserve water a deal she made with the state. she wanted to use the famous neptune pool but it was emptied in january because it was leaking 5,000 gallons of water a day. lady gaga agreed to pay for water to pumped into the pool and then return to an irrigation facility after the video shoot. part of the $250,000 she is donating to the foundation for the shoot will be used to repair

a spirit airlines flight was struck by lightning landing in atlantic city. the roof of buildings collapsed and at the airport the crews have been de-icing planes and clear the runways as 7,000 flights were canceled on thursday. ice is bringing down trees and power lanes and hundreds of thousands are in the dark. mother nature has no love for valentine's day which are a headache for the busiest day of the year for florists. >> deliveries are slower. >> in a georgia county, men are off the hook today. the sheriff post on facebook: valentine's day is cancel because of ice, snow, and freezing rain. >> back to normal today in the northeast after a delayed start, the federal government opened again and schoolchildren are back in class. and tesla motors is investigating another fire involving a model s.

well earned reputation of rain happening on the parade and that happens tomorrow. from the top of the broadcast center, let me show you what is going on. you can see the bay bridge this morning and you can see the winds are blowing and a lot of low clouds but when they clear tomorrow, 5:15, 57 and drizzle and light rain during the parade and by the end of it, it will rain lightly to steady light rain at 8:00 with temperatures in the mid-50's. look at our visibility, looking pretty good but there are still flight arrival delays into sfo at an hour. the moisture is going to stay to the north the best chance of rain with some of the mid-and high level clouds but no real energy to take that moisture and turn it into rain and drop it open us. for the most part if you get a

sprinkle you will be one of few, upper 50's to low 60's if you are headed out right now. it is very mild after the mild start. most of us were in the low-to-mid 50's. from emeryville looking back to san francisco you can see the layers of clouds. you will be great with no sprinkles. light rain. a better chance of measurable rain. more rain and cooler weather coming tuesday and weapon. here is a look at our temperatures: running in the upper 50's to low 60's loan the coast and mid-to-upper 60's elsewhere. we are seeing more sunshine this morning, antioch and live more. you could make a run at 70. tonight is a mild one. a few upper 40's and a lot of low-to-mid 50's with fog and miss and drizzle. the warm front moved through overnight opening us up to this warm and most air. with the energy to the north that is where the rain stays.

you can see the next system not connected to the atmospheric river which is why the rainfall amounts are height with this system. this morning, you can see low clouds give way to mid-to-upper clouds but focus on where the green is ... it stays at the top of the screen and through the evening and overnight through tomorrow morning and then on saturday at 6:00 the rain starts to move into the north bay and light-to-moderate rain. the mod reality rain then goes away so light rain through 9:00 in the heart of the bay and it continues influence 1:00 o'clock and by 4:00 sunday morning, it is going. we will see some sunshine and a cooler and dry air move in on sunday. more sunshine on sunday than the entire week. we will have quarter inch of rain in the south bay and if you are headed to lake tahoe it is breezy but windy tomorrow.
