>> abc7 news begins with breaking news. in switzerland an ethiopian jetliner landed safely after being hijacked by a pilot. swiss police arrested the co-pilot after the jet touched down in geneva. the co-pilot is believed ethiopian man in his 30's was seeking asylum in switzerland. he feared some sort of danger in ethiopia. officials say the co-pilot locked the door to the cockpit when the pilot used the restroom headed from the capital to rome with 202 passengers and crew. all are safe. developing news from fairfield: police are searching if a gunman who shot and killed a 16-year-old girl. amy hollyfield is at police headquarters with the investigation. amy? >> the community has responded to the death of the young person. look at this memorial that her friends have created at scene of her death, full of flowers and candles and her body was found saturday morning at 4:15 near

the railed tracks off phoenix drive in fairfield. police say the 16-year-old naomy rojas. they need help to find her killer. >> this is an ongoing investigation and we are looking for the public's help to put the pieces together. >> police have not said if they have identified a suspect. they have not given any description. we know that they have not made any arrests. they are leading for witnesses. people who call in can remain anonymous. new details in a shooting outside a popular mall in san francisco. it happened after 7:00 p.m. outside the westfield mall at powell. a 19-year-old was hit twice by one fire and has light threatening injuries. the bart station was closed for several hours.

police are investigating. the gunman got away. abc7 news reporter cornell bernard is involving the story with the latest on the investigation if a report at 6:30. >> a 53-year-old martinez woman is under arrest on suspicion of murder. martinez police say she was, withed into contra costa jail on murder charges. the victim was found dead inside a home yesterday and the coroner is with hing the victim's identity until family is notified. >> san rafael police is started wearing body cameras to record what happens when they are on patrol. the pilot project will last for 90 days, the second in marin county to use body cameras. police can use the cameras to build evidence against suspects and to defends themselves from excessive force compliments. some were dids have seen accusations against officers decrease when they started wearing cameras. >> march today in the release of findings of a santa rosa teen. the 13-year-old andy lopez was killed by the sheriff deputy in

october. he ordered lopez to drop what he thought was an assault rifle and fired eight shots. the gun was really a bb gun and the district attorney says that investigative records are never released to the public while still under review for the possibility of criminal charges. >> a deadly crash took the lives of a mom and her children near fresno as the helpless father watched. the 29-year-old mother and four children all younger than 11 were killed after a van ran a stop sign and hit the s.u.v., the husband driving a quarter mind behind tried to pull them from the burning car but could not free the family. the driver of the other car was airlifted to a hospital for treatment. >> a man who died in a motorcycle crash in san francisco over the weekend is a well-known local business owner. 42-year-old and his brother are owners of drew. -- drewes

day. as we look toward the east and west...that should be the sun rising. we break it down for you and figure this out. first, though, we have these stories. a man is dead after a fight at a wal-mart store that led to a deadly shooting yesterday in a phoenix suburb. it started in the store before the gunman opened fire. no word this morning on what led to the dispute. >> olympic skier bodie miller had an emotional interview ending in tears. he broke down in sochi after winning the bronze medal in the super-g when a reporter asked him about his late brother who passed away last year. his wife was on the scene to comfort him much the reporter is facing backlash online for continuing the interview despite miller's emotional state.

in, the fog formation has inned and santa rosa is unlimited and there is a patch near tracy. we have birds flying around shut to tower, and there you go, look at the beautiful colors from sutro to the east bay, that is diabolo on the right side with the blinking red light. we will be partly cloudy because of the high clouds and temperatures are close to average. light rain is possible through wednesday morning and not a big issue. warmer-than-average weather, and spring flavor to the back half of the seven-day forecast. today, it will feel like february, upper 50's along the coast and low-to-mid 60's with the high clouds and sunshine, and tonight, you can see the clouds are thicker with high clouds and the fog possible around the east bay, north bay, and in the central valley. most of our temperatures are in the 40's but napa and santa rosa are upper 30's. you can see right there we have two areas of high pressure
