woman was severely beaten by another paint. >> the hospital says the police and sheriff deputies are routinely stationed here in the emergency room and those were the officers who were able to stop the attack. here is who they accused doing this: 29-year-old is accused of assaulting the elderly woman who was a patient here. officials say he was being trusted from the e.r. to the psychiatric emergency room when he jumped on the elderly woman would was a patient and he started hitting her. officers jumped on him and pulled him off. here is the statement the hospital released saying san francisco general hospital and trauma center is are foundly sorry miss more resolution was -- miss peres was injured in other care. we reviewing our procedures. she suffered some bruises in the attack and the hospital officials will do everything

we have breaking news from the east bay. firefighters are on the scene of a two-alarm house fire in fremont. it looks like the firefighters have this pretty well knocked down and possibly under control. i don't see any flames. i don't see any bit of smoke we saw anymore. what we do know is no energies have been reported. san francisco district attorney is pushing a measure to make drug possession a

misdemeanor rather than a felony. according to the chronicle, the initiative was cleared for circulation yesterday and still needs more than 500,000 signatures to get on the november ballot and make drug possession a misdemeanor punish build by a year in county jail rather then a physical any -- felony which is three years in prison. it is opposed by the governor and most prosecutors. a south bay man is accused of molesting four, the young of the just three. the 28-year-old michael anthony was arrested at his home last week. he assaulted victims in the neighborhood between 1999 and 2005. investigators say they found child pornography on the computers and there could be more young victims. >> we want to make sure that either we have identified everything we can or find the other pens who were victimized. >> police say the victims started coming forward last
