wind is breezy this morning. the temperatures are cooler when you step outside. live doppler 7 hd shows dry air but high clouds streaming in so hopefully we will have another colorful sunrise that has been our calling card. 53 is the warm spot to the north and a lot of low-to-mid 40's from 101 to mill valley and up to santa rosa and we have 47 in san rafael and the napa valley we have temperatures in the upper 30's and american canyon at 37 and napa at 39. 50 in alameda, and san francisco is 49 and redwood city and newark is 43 and san carlos is 44 and san jose at 43 and lafayette is 40. at sfo, remember this time yesterday we watched the drizzle move through and now nothing but clear conditions and a too high clouds. that is the case through the afternoon. it will be bright and dry and our warmest day is friday, saturday, and sunday just in time for the weekend and a series of storms possible next week with the computer models

stow. the prosecution said last night they may plead guilty or "no contest," to avoid a trial. bryan stow suffered a serious injury when attacked outside the stadium in 2011 at the opening game. he is permanently disabled. he expected in court. we will have coverage from court. in the south bay, there has been a shakeup this morning at the santa clara county rural metro ambulance company. two dozen employees have been fired for getting cpr recertification cars without going through the mandatory four-hour training according to our media partner. rural metro says it was notified in late john of a state investigation involving a cpr instructor who trained some of the ambulance workers. after reviewing records some employees were shown to have falsely obtained the cards.

the union representative said they will appeal the job action. berkeley student has been arrested after attacking his roommate in a possible hate crime much the 19-year-old is charged with robbery and aggravated assault. police say he punched, kicked and choked the roommate tuesday night. police say that he demanded the other student's cell phone and made anti-gay comments. donor is held on $130,000 bail. >> governor is roping a relief effort to deal with the california drought. they want spend $687 million for emergency water supplies and water conservation technology that includes funds for housing and food for workers directly affected by the worse drought in state history. the bill will be expedited because the of wants the money made available in a few weeks, and republicans plan to introduce their own legislation today which they say addresses the state's long-term water needs. east bay santory district

officials want a slice of the emergency funding pie with the treatment plant recycling sewage water for nondrinking purposes such as firefighting. last summer they saved seven million gallons of drinking water from being used each day. it is highly efficient but costs keeps it from expanding. >> we have a lost projects we planning but it takes funding to convert the facilities to use recycle water. >> the sanitary districts hope the new fund will jump start a trend toward recycling more sewage water usually being poured into the bay. >> the governor says an antigun law will not stop violence on the streets of oakland. the "san francisco chronicle" reports that the governor plans to veto a law aimed at lacing more restrictions on gun owners in oakland. the city leaders are pushing to make oakland the first city to require gun owners to register with the city. the governor believes the city council should provide better support for the police
