scaffold in san francisco recover tonight from their injuries. we were over the scene this afternoon at mission and free front street. spokesperson for the construction company on site says the scaffolding being lifted into plates when it suddenly collapsed. first had to extricate the victims from all of the rubble. >> 70-year-old woman remains in critical condition at san francisco general hospital after hit by cement from you can this afternoon. it happened just after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of california and fill more. police say the woman outside the crosswalk when hit. >> developing news tonight. 4 people killed and 2 others injured in mass shooting and stabbing on native american reservation in far northern california killings happened late today south of the oregon border. police say this woman 44-year-old sherry rhodes hot 5 people and stabbed one other person at eviction hearing at tribal office she's under arrest tonight 4 of the shooting victims dead. one

on that period because in the event that testing will produce any information that we can act upon, we won't have the concern of statutory limitations. >>reporter: there is a 10 year statute of limitations on most sexual assaults including rape. according to captain dan the kits were initially not tested for variety of reasons. >> they weren't kit we forgot about or didn't know existed there was an investigative or prosecution decision made that the testing of the kits wasn't required. at that time that was that was the practice. >>reporter: he tells us the department is now committed to processing all the evidence it found. they accepted the kit to private company to not create a backlog in the crime lab. there's no estimate of how much it cost but he says it's worth it. >> it's about justice actually to the survivors. there is actionable information from case ins that period and we can move forward we absolutely want
