bottles at the windshields of moving cars in the north bay. five vehicles have been hit in a week. most of them along highway 12. someone in a white pickup has been throwing the water bottles at the cars. two school buses including this one, have been damaged. two other cars had softball-sized holes in the windshields and a because driver was hurt. >> the combined speed of 100 miles per hour with the water beaumonts going 50 and the oncoming traffic going 50 it is quite an impact. >> this a misdemeanor and if anyone is hurt it become as physical any. >> a shooting and stabbing left four people dead and two others critically injured on a native american indian reservation yesterday at tribal headquarters in the northeast part of the state. police arrested this woman, 44-year-old who serves as a

tribal leader shooting five people during a meeting to evict her and her son from the reservation. she ran out of bullets she pulled out a knife and stabbed another person. she faces murder and attempted murder charges. a fugitive wanted for assaulting a liver in montana is the subject of a manhunt in the bay area. the f.b.i. and marshal service say the convicted sex offender went on the run after attack the police officer. the 28-year-old briggs was spotted last week and is between 5' 5" and briggs could be working in the area. >> kevin bridges -- briggs has worked in hotels and lend scraping and he could be working for money to be traveling to either mexico or to oregon, washington state. >> local police have been warned to look out. if you see briggs call 9-1-1.

>> ukraine president yanukovych struck a deal with the european union announcing early elections and a coalition government after all night negotiations with european union diplomats intended to end the battle between the police and protesters. 70 protesters were killed and more than 500 were injured in downtown kiev yesterday. yanukovych scrapped a pact with the e.u. in favor of close ties with russia and that started the protesters. the opposition agreed to initiate the deals but it is too early to declare a breakthrough. a special task force will look into how anuallied hate crime on a black student by his white roommates started and continued. studentses and staff and community members met two weeks ago for the first of six meetings. hate crime charges have been

filed against four of the roommates. they have been suspended. the task force will release recommendations for policies to prevent future hate crimes in april. >> two carpenters would tell 40' from scaffolding in san francisco are recovering from injuries this morning. we were at the scene yesterday afternoon. a spokesman for the construction again said that scaffolding was being lifted into place and it collapsed. firefighterred had to extricate the victims from the rubble. >> a 70-year-old woman is still in critical condition after being hit by a cement truck yesterday. this happened after 3:00 at california and fillmore street. police say the woman was not in the crosswalk when she was hit. today, central california farmers will finally hear how the federal government will help them get through our drought emergency. federal officials will now announce how much water they can release. they need to balance the needs of farmers, fish migration and

performing cpr on five-month-old boy. she was driving on a miami highway and the baby stopped breathing and started turning blue. she stopped her s.u.v. and started screaming for help. a photographer with the miami herald saw what was happening, stopped the car, got help, and took this photo. the baby is recovering.
