under the stars. inland, the limited fog in the north bay temperatures in the upper 30's to low 40's and mid-to-upper 50's and quiet at 57. from the coast, a great day, light wind, total sunshine and low-to-mid 60's. enjoy. an exciting start to the morning with a high speed chase in the east bay that ended danville in a crash and everything thousand has calmed down. along the pass westbound we have 32 miles per hour as the top speed from dublin. in san lorenzo we have a roll of carpet blocking a lane that could cause slowing as c.h.p. tries to move that the shoulder. the bay bridge toll plaza shows metering lights are not turned on but we had a car that went down the were bangment to the side so c.h.p. headed out to retrieve the vehicle.

>> firefighters in san lenadro are on the scene of a house fire at williams street. this break out at 4:00 this morning and witnesses say they could see films coming from the freeway on 880. crews have knocked it down and they are keeping an eye on the hotspots. no word if anyone was need the home when the fire started. we will have more on the fire in the newscasts with breaking coverage on twitter@bay twitter@bayareanews. >> police are investigating a fail shooting in san jose. investigators say a resolution accident told them a map was trying to break into the home last night at 8:00 so he fired shots. he says he grabbed a gun and shot at the burglar. he took off with another man in the car. a short time later police say a man believed the suspect was dropped off at the hospital. he had a gun wound. he died a short time later.

abc7 news reporter katie marzullo is on the scene. she will have a report at 6:30. in east oakland there was a deadly shooting at 77th. the identity is not released. a transit bus was driving by and was caught in the crossfire. it happened at 4:00 yesterday afternoon. the number 40 line bus was hit they times. no one was hurt. >> developing in the not bay, the search is on for the pranksters putting drivers in danger. amy hollyfield has details on what is happening. amy? >> yes, kristen, they are throwing water bottles at moving cars and school buses. it could sound harmless but it is doing some damage and hurt someone. look at this video of one car that was damaged, the windshield was shattered. three car windshields have damage and the drivers were sprayed with glass. there were two school buss that

have been hit. in one case a passenger threw a water bottle at a bus. there were no students on the buses. hour, a bus driver was hurt. >> broken glass exceeded in the driver's hand and her eye. >> police are looking for a white pickup truck that does not have a camper shelf. they say it is a model made in the mid-2000. this has been happening along route 12 in santa rosa. they say this is like a missile when it is traveling at 50 to 100 miles per hour. it is very serious. police want this to stop and find this person as soon as possible. they say it is a felony to throw something at a moving vehicle if someone is hurt. breaking news on the crisis in ukraine, the "wall street

journal" reports in the last few minutes the ukraine president and opposition have signed a compromise deal and that government forces have pulled back from the front lines. it has been a rough road to get here. this morning members of the ukraine parliament scuffled before sitting down to discuss the confrontations that left dozens dead. it is still not clear if the deal will be enough to step the demonstrations. here is new video from kiev independence square of a peaceful opposition rally that took place today. mostly there was no violence today. a crew heard a brief flurry of gunshots but no one appeared to be hurt. the ukraine government accused the protesters of firing at police. >> we have a look at the violence playing out in kiev. this video shows medics carrying away a protester shot in the neck at a hotel but it is not clear if the person survived. the photographer would filmed

critically injured on a reservation. it happened yesterday at tribal headquarters in the most northeast part of california. police arrested this woman, 44-year-old who was once tribal leader. she shot five people during a meeting to evervict her son and her from the reservation. when she ran out of bullets she pulled out a butcher knife and stabbed another person she is facing murder and attempted murder. >> the chemical safety board has subpoena for documents and answers aput the incident last week at the refinery near martinez when a pipe burst spraying administration said on two, worries who were airlifted to the burn city suffering first- or second-degree burns. officials ordered a partial shut down for suspected safety violations. federal investigators went to the refinery the day after but in an unprecedented move, the
